Is this real? 1 fkn percent chance to go from +19 to +20? Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. I knew it would be worse than 30% which still would have been ridiculous, but this? If they actually release this...

Okay, understand this, and I'm not exaggerating here in the least, on average it will take 10 billion--yes, with a 'b'--10,621,060,739 weapons to reach +20 from +3. Nah, noooooo. Not even going to be a part of that, ever. DevCan't, ya done failed.

Just to give some perspective here, your odds of winning any of the multi-million dollar/euro lotteries are only in the low hundreds of millions at worst. If I'm going to throw money away on something it will be something that while also stupid to hope for, will at least reward me for the rest of my life should I overcome the odds. This is a joke.

    "No other game like dis"

You mean...its not like Skyforge, and more than a few other games that run off pretty much the exact same system with very similar dungeons and content? XD

People are referring to the combat. There really isn't anything else that matches Vindictus completely. That said, I've been playing Warframe and wheeeewww is that fun. If Vindictus had been built on that engine... And the melee combat in that game is actually really, really well done. Would have been amazing to have those devs as the the ones launching an running Vindi.

The gear disparity is something that exists every season, and is only going to get worse with this new enhance system. You'll be paying way more gold on runes trying to make a +20, and they're clearly changing the weapon enhance to not work on bound weapons, just so you'll spend more money on runes.

Gearing is going to be even more cancerous, elitism more abundant, and the grind sounds worse. I won't judge or completely develop any biases until I see how it works, but I'm not optimistic. I suppose we'll see

I think they are raising the bar to +20 because a lot more people have +15 compared to, for example, season 1.
+15 was a luxury and only 3 people had it in KR server for a long period of time. Now everyone has it.

This is a big problem especially in Korean Server after releasing free +13 orange Regina Weapon to players as a log-in event from PC-Bangs (internet-cafe).
People say "you need +15 to start" to people who asks help for gearing lvl 90/95 as a joke.

But honestly, you can get over the ATT Cap of Dullahan which is the most end-game content right now, with +12 lvl 90, which means +20 is not a must.
ATT SPD may be low, but as people say in Korea, ATT SPD is not really a major dmg stat like crit and bal, but a stat for "enjoyment"

Also, with +15 being a casual thing, players are starting to lose interest and aim for the game.

...or at least I think that's what their intentions are. I'm against it like the majority of people is.

I think the greater problem with the update is the deleted animation for consumable items, enhanced armor giving additional damage, "swagger resistance", and S1, S2 Raids becoming 4 man normal run. Also, me not getting +15 for 7 years :'(

Making the highest achievement in the game--and a lucky one at that--even more behind an RNG wall is not going to make people happy. The KR players met the director with silence when he came on the stage after they saw that. Junyoop raged over it. His chat during the stream was right there with him. No one asked for this. At a 33% chance it takes on average 28 weapons to reach +15 from +12; assuming a 30% chance--and odds are it will be even lower than that the closer you get to +20--it will take on average 15,242 weapons to reach +20. Again, that's starting with a +12, which will be the last point a rune can be used without a reset. That's not going to make anyone more apt to give it a go. It's ridiculous. They can keep that mess.

+20 will be like TET weapons in bdo, thats their goal, make them extremely rare.

Considering the resources needed to enhance that high--as in the number of failures most people will see--it will be far, far worse than TET. Vindi has no failstacks, and the runes that will be in the seal shop will reset the weapon entirely. It's going to be a nightmare. I'll wait and see what happens, but I'm considering dropping my +15s from my inventory and just leaving Vindi behind if this goes through.

Do they really think 4 people only is going to emphasize the multiplayer aspect? 4 player parties do not allow for nearly enough Fashiondictus.

I see a lot of positive changes, but it is very clear that these were all done as Nexon saw fit with no consultation from players who are familiar with and very involved with the game. So many amazing fixes but a few that will cause just as much division and stress as before, if not even more in some cases. I really don't think they get that 8 player battles were fun. Even farming Lagho for events was fun having a full group and just messing around. These changes will definitely keep a lot of people playing casually but I can't be happy about the depth it will take away in terms of community interaction.

Huge steps forward, huge steps back, e-special-f'ingly the +20 system. That can go DIAF.

I am going to guess that half of it is to make hosting easier too. IE the big emphasis on multicore working on a bunch more runs + making it so you never have issues.

(Note I am not a fan of the 4 man limit, and the 12 man royal raids, but it also will make it seem more active since in principle there should be 2x more boats being made. Also their gerbils should live longer with 12 man royals...)

Really not looking forward to the +20.

And in all honestly most of this just makes me go meh, maybe it is time to just move on soon. The game already isn't what I fell in love with and now it is just moving closer and closer to easy mode only.

Nah, it won't be easy mode. It will be easier to get started, and easier to scroll, but maxing out with the highest enhance level will be harder than ever. Assuming that the rate drops to 30% all the way from +13 to +20--and knowing DevCan't it will be worse--the odds of making it to +20 from there are 0.006561%. It will take approximately 15,242 weapons to guarantee a +20

    +hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaahahahahahahaahahahahhaahahahaahahahaaha
