The path less traveled is the loneliest; solitude gives way to adventure. It is when individuals work together without becoming a group that great discoveries are made; otherwise, progress becomes replaced by ideology.
About Me
Over a decade of MMOs. Prefer Hack and Slash, Platforming, and Non-Linear MMORPGs.
For the same reason they only have items in the cash shop for a limited amount of time: Nexon has always erroneously believed that making things temporary increases sales and player satisfaction.
As it currently stands, there are 2 battle types - Common Battle, which is the type of battle the devs want the players to use, and Quick Battle, which is a tougher fast-grouping version.
However, QB has some problems and the recent change to kicking has brought thos to light.
Instead of letting QB remain as it is, I suggest having 4 modes rather than 2:
1. Common Battle - The basic battle mode; requirements are lowest but anyone can join for any reason. Vote kick system is implemented, but only the host can invite players and can be private. Normal rewards, with extra core in Hard mode.
2. Quick Battle - The fast battle mode; requirements are higher but parties are made of strangers. Kicking is disabled and cannot be made private, nor can anyone be invited in. One extra core, or two in Hard mode
3. Guild Battle - The tough battle mode; requirements are highest and only players in the same guild as the host may join; cannot be made private as it's already guild-specific. Host kick. Two extra cores, or three in Hard mode.
4. Friend Battle - The smooth battle mode; requirements are the same as QB but only friends of party members may join (friend of host, then friend of them or host, etc), and it's invitation-only with all members able to invite, meaning it's not public. Unanimous kick only. Bonus seals granted upon completion, with even more granted in Hard mode.
