I think the reason for such a large jump in damage from 90 to 95 is to make Purple weapons and gear relevant. Everyone knows BLUE is just for crafters to make 3* gear (so blue has a role), and orange is best (has role) but purple is kinda meh at the moment. Looking at 80 to 90 gear jump, a +10 80 weapon was basically superior to a +10 purple lvl 90 weapon UNLESS it was TOP TIER MAXED purple stats on pretty much all the shards. This seems kind of silly, as purple is supposed to be mid tier. before the Seal shop update, it was fairly pointless to get a purple weapon if you had a +10 80 weapon due to cost of paradise vs empowered stones, etc. With a sizeable jump like this, it means getting a purple +10 lvl 95 weapon might actually be worth it, even if you have an orange +10 lvl 90 weapon (not sure about this). If this is the case, then I believe the system is working as intended; get a purple weapon for set bonus and to have fun with new weapon, then slowly acquire an orange weapon over time. If you have an all ornage +15, you can pretty much skip getting a purple and wait for your all orange 95. I think this is fair, and makes getting those purple gear drops in raids worthwhile instead of just "didn't get an orange worthless raid +mad"
I agree focus on the positive is best... like *hopefully good bug fixes and the new Battle window to avoid needless travel back and forth. I have issues with the enchantment system but we know there is a revamp coming soon making R8 and worse safe to scroll. I think they should take this one step further and make R7 safe as well (only the NEWEST scrolls in each installment should have chance to blow gear (so R6), and capped at 40% success).
The Enhancement system is still absolutely horrible and inexcusable, and I've posted alternative in other posts, but beating this dead horse post after post doesn't really make it any better.
The one thing about this game I've noticed is that changes/patches are REALLY slow to come compared to other games, but when they do come they are more often than not good solid changes. I've played games where every patch was 1 step forward and 2 steps back, and that's not fun trust me. Give this game some time and I'm sure they will eventually address the Horrid Enhancement system. Until then, just accept +10 4 lyfe

It's very simple: in Korea there is much greater completion for vindictus then anywhere else they nexon have to try harder to keep players. Competition pure and simple.
The mindset is they were working on a new character that would dual weild gun +sword, new director came and said no new character, 2ndary weapons instead, and the devs were like " well we've been working on this for a while so instead of throwing it away lets just throw it on hurk"
Laziness is always the simplest answer. Greed is 2nd.
