  • Upcoming Teide changes?

    The new skill is not pointless. It is actually pretty high damage AND adds more time to the wound counter than the stamina boosting slash. It's also getting an SP reduction in a future patch. Worth adding into your rotation.

    Is there a definitive Spellwhip guide for those coming back to game looking to pick this up? I saw the max DPS thread but I'm wondering if there is more something along the lines of breaking down each skill and how/when to use it.

    If not, I may consider doing one myself after I've played around enough.

    Excellent post. In the chance Nexon sees this post, I would add the "Challenger 1029283838" bug just started for me recently, I want to say two maintenance periods ago from this date. Since this is a relatively new bug and extremely annoying, I suggest patching this asap. Not sure if you mentioned it, but also Korean Guild Screen is annoying and prevents from collecting Guild Loot.

    As far as I get the comment that Vinidi is near its end and support is limited, it's still really bad to let things get like this. Why would I even consider playing another Nexon game if they show they don't even fully support their existing games? I'm more likely to switch to another company.

  • Top Dps Builds

    The Top DPS in Korea is:
    Arisha / Xgun Kai / CB Vella / Miri / (and some really OP Skillz Lynns)

    Karoke used to be on that list, but future nerfs to Karoke knock him off the top list. Even with nerfs, Miri is still considered top tier DPS

    Don't bother with Lynn unless you have God micro and really want to put in the time to master her.

    Greatsword Hurk is nowhere near top DPS unless you plan on only playing S1/S2 raids which are now irrelevant anyway due to RISE changes. And if you are talking about Tiede you are delusional, as tiede is widely considered (and is) trash compared to greatsword outside of a few niche raids.

    Gear progression should be +13 lvl 90 weapon with seals, then +12 OJ main+ Purple shard Dullahan Armor using premiums and Safeguards, then when all your armor is +12 and you have safeguards left you should try for a +15 lvl 90 if you have plenty of Seals of Bravery. If not, you might want to instead go for a +13 Dullahan but it will cost a lot more gold wise. All top accessories of course (w/ relevant infusions). 2xEpaulat from AP shop. Necklace from AP shop unless you have White Kitty Necklace scrolled. Premium Soap, Warm welcome potion, and all relevant titles, etc

    Once you have this setup, go for OJ shards on armor which unlocks +13 and above for armor.

    Once this is done, feel free to waste your money on Att Limit releasing your weapon.

    That's one of the things I really hate about Additional Damage. It's so overpowering that it trumps all skill. It trumps all Titles. It even trumps investment into accessories. It even trumps lvl 95 gear if you can get a lvl 90 with higher enhancement. It's so OP that if you do manage a +14 or greater wepaon, most raids become trivial and boring. It used to be you became OP GRADUALLY with slow gear progression, getting good accessories, accumalating titles, etc.

    Now you get good by rolling the dice and hoping for +14 >

    The fun is in the journey, and when the journey is instant boom or bust, you negate a lot of the enjoyment. Making all those other things matter again by reducing additonal damage is the only way to go. I just wonder how long it will take nexon to realize this....
