  • Saygo : Super week ticket event clarification

If you want to know how the rune works you could look in the threads where it was already explained. I am far from a fanboy. I call Nexon out on their crap, but I'm not going to green light your complaints, whining, and laziness. I've yet to see a post from you that's positive when it comes to this game. If you dislike it that much then just stop playing.

  • Ideas for lv1-90 new character guide?

There's not enough XP gain to progress all the way in story if you don't repeat story battles or do side quests with no VIP/XP bonus active, unless there's been a base XP rewards boost that I missed. Worse still, with the change to Royal Army Raids you have to catch them on the right day to even get that XP, which I guess doesn't matter since you're only sticking to story, but still.

  • Sorry mercenaries. Might be goodbye.

Well, Sanitee was told that she'd already received her "one time pass" on unbanning and thus was denied despite there being nothing malicious done on her end. That's not speculation, unless someone wants to call Sanitee a liar?

Well, if you do something that triggers BlackCipher, and you get the messages describing that a malicious program is being used, or suspicious activity is being detected, once, twice, and you choose to ignore it and continue doing whatever that is that triggers the anti-hack software it's kinda your fault tbh.

I have played vindi since 2012 and I never got a message like that. Playing with the browser open and sometimes several other programs, not any illegal ones ofc.
Wonder why I haven't gotten any, does it target specific players? :o Is it self-aware? :o

    1) Players are not given a list of programs that may trigger the software.
    2) All players in this thread and others have not received warnings before their bans.

When a player legitimately uses a program designed to exploit the game I see no issue with a ban. I will always have an issue with players being banned for using non-malicious software, being banned without warning, and with players being told here that improper bans will always be overturned when in some very well-known instances that hasn't been the case.

  • Status Update From Devcat?

If we're asking specific questions I'd just like to know if they're ever going to optimize the game. A port to an updated Source would be great, but even if they don't do that, simply having them fix the glaring issues that players have already done the work of locating within the code/layering would be amazing. I've never seen a game that has literally had the answers handed to them and done nothing about it.

Yep, it's just a sad time for MMOs. SWTOR has gone full RNG with their latest full release, which means their game's driving factors are the Cash Shop and keeping players playing longer with grind rather than enjoyable content. It's kind of funny that Vindi has and likely will continue to get more full-size group content than a western MMO like that one. Guild Wars 2 has also sadly added even more RNG and grind to the game as time goes on, though unlike SWTOR and most eastern MMOs they haven't used that to directly try and stimulate the sale of 'convenience' items.

Honestly if we continually got the event rewards like we're seeing now that are the norm for the Asian regions the RNG would remain bearable. Yes, there would continue to be risks going for +12 and higher, but it would be relatively smooth for most players to get at least a +10 or 11 weapon and a fully scrolled set of gear just by playing semi-casually.
