  • So...How about some blatant honesty?

Again another of these threads? lets go again...

    - Go full dullahan, due to the damage formula you will deal the same damage (yes, the same) as astera in all raids var hell mode, which is pretty useless dropwise. Currently, with maxed att limit and every accesory maxed out, I barely reach the cap in lugh (att cap is 38500 + 3450 from att limit and camp = 41950, and I barely hit 42k, good news is that soon nexon will lower his att cap by -1k), with all the money you save from going dulla you can afford gold bracelets and the sweet golden book pretty easily. There's also a myth that a dullahan character deals less dps in OS than astera, that's fake.

    - Play on various accounts. Level atleast 1 character to 100 on all of them, and then just try to do all the events that can give profit to your main. They will also get strong thanks to getting all the event items your main is getting (you can for example upgrade their lvl 90 weapon to +15 for free). Be careful to not abuse this though, the more accounts you create the more you spent doing events, if you have too much you will end up not being able to play with your main due time constraints.

    - Good time management, do the most profitable raids first. If you can only play 2h, you can do 5 astera lugh, 2 agares and 2 aes, since they currently give the highest amount of money on average.

    - Avoid multiple costumes, the first one gives +250 att and +2 bal over the event ones, which is a neat boost, but once you buy the second you're spending money solely on cosmetic stuff, and lets be real only rich people can afford good stats and a big wardrobe at once. Remember that fusion runes also exists, you can create a cheap good look for around 20m (in EU) so you can have 2 looks. If you're creating this topic you're the kind of person who worries more about stats (I guess?) so this tip is unnecesary.

That way it would increase gap between new/casual players and 24/7 players and botters which isn't what this game needs. Better way would be that daily mission's would rly let you progress. So there would be better rewards for daily missions coupons (80 days for +1* isnt progress ) and also more diversity of daily missions.
Well that's how online games work, the more you play the stronger you should become. Vindictus is heavy RNG based and people with bad luck get bored of it quickly. Seems more logical to focus on reward people that play a lot and is not getting a **** due bad luck, than rewarding people that can't play more than 1h each day.
I do like the idea of making daily shop better, but its not the main issue. You want to incentivate people to do raids, not incentivate them to enter 10 minutes do daily and leave.

The only way I see of fixing the droprate is making every raid like niflheim with key fragments. For example you do 1 agares you get an agares treasure shard. With 5 you craft an orange armor, with 10 an ore, with 30 a weapon main and with 50 an ancient succession. This would motivate people to keep running raids until they can obtain the desired drop with treasure shards.
A limitation to this system could be that the drops obtained this way are binded to character, and irons can't be crafted.

Another thing I would like to talk is about +16-+20. There should be a hard but guaranteed way to obtain those. My idea is again fragments. If you dismantle a +15 weapon you get a +16 coupon shard of the level of the weapon. After 4, you can craft a +15 - +16 coupon. Then you have to do the same for +17, this time by breaking +16 weapons, so picture it like this:
For a guaranteed +16 you have to dismantle 4 +15s, for a guaranteed +17 you have to dismantle 4 +16s, which would be 16 +15s, and the list goes on.

This look crazy expensive but I feel its balanced, we need some sort of guaranteed method. A +18 would take 64 +15 weapons which is insane for anyone to abuse this.

  • Tier List (Opinion)

I like tier lists in all games, this thread is gonna get a lot of hates but I want to give my grain of salt as a sword Lann main (6k add , crit and att cap)

The tier list is kinda accurate. I would place hurk one tier high because I struggle a lot to outdps them. Idk about bow kai, didn't saw enought of them after revamp. Lynn blute is very strong but I would not place her at S tier. Spear lann is barely the same as sword lann, they should be both mid tier. Agree with spellsword arisha. Twin sword vella should be 1 tier high. Delia dps isn't that good, 1 tier less. Fiona is a delicated subject, she does more dps while solo, probably S tier when solo.
Can outdps all the B and B+ tier with ease except xgun kai which they do same dps as me or a bit more, so that one should probably raise 1 tier. Ofc I'm only considering people with same stats as me.

The biggest issue of a tier list in vindi is the fact that being solo or being able to tank makes a lot of difference for some chars.

  • What you like/dislike at rise Vindictus?

    - Combo bonus (game rewarded you for playing well, why the f was this removed seriously)
    - Jump (useless for DPS but was fun)
    - XE Move (most people say that this was broken, but for me it was another way to rewarding your dodging skills)
    - Difficulty settings and more experience based on ranking (was cool to aim for an SSS while leveling chars)

As a Lann I feel like I only play Vindictus on redemeers, because in all the other raids I have to tank in order to be 1º dps. I never tanked pre Rise nor need the feel to since combo counter was better, and also there was no damage to boss cores.
