Why would it matter if it's 4 or 8 when you should be essentially soloing it anyway?
Because having more people in a party is subjectively fun. If you like small raid parties then have at it, but why should there be a restriction in the first place? Shouldn't it be up to the players whether they want 4 or 8?
If you mean attack capped as in attack "nerfed" then yes, everyone's damage is sort of nerfed from the usual damage they would do in a normal raid.
Another thing to note is the crit, does our crit actually get buffed to cap if we're not capped? I'm curious as to how this works since Lann has a different crit cap from other characters. I'm only capped up till s2 for crit, and s3 einrach definitely felt like a normal raid where I would have to rely on risky wind buffs or infusions.
When does NA get unlimited equipment restorations T_T
Think you mean doesn't.
As to why, simply because that's how nexon markets their games to their western audiences. Nexon believes it is the correct way in terms of monetization. I read that somewhere from an interview with the CEO of nexon, I'll link it if you want me too but I can't be bothered to find it right now.
That is the sole reason why we get less costumes, less convenience, higher prices and other "bad" stuff that we've noted throughout the years.
