  • Attack requirement boats are wrecking the game

In other words you got to where you are by using NONE of the methods described by a previous poster about progression in the game. Yet you jumped into the middle of the discussion with your +12 anyway. You're only helping to support my argument that progression in this game is not realistically attainable unless you have a lot of luck on your side and that weapons past +10 are not attainable unless you're willing to input a lot of money into the game AND get lucky.

You should set up a stream also where we watch you farm for materials just to create a level 90 set. If you're a working adult I put you in at about 8 months until you get your entire level 90 set from seals and materials without buying it off of anyone.

Now have fun enhancing and enchanting it all with only the stuff you've farmed.

Don't forget about the millions of gold that will be required to tune your equipment afterwards. Or the fact that the scroll shop is only an event and not a permanent feature. Or that unless you're counting on event runes you will need to spend NX on top of your 8 months time to get your weapon to +10. Remember, you have to farm this gold yourself also.

And then I really hope you don't care about min-maxing and playing at the uppermost levels of your character (and you're not playing one that's attack speed dependent like Delia or scythe Evie). If you are look at your weapon again and realize that you're missing out on roughly 33% of your attack speed stat and not dealing your optimal damage output because you don't have a +15. So now you're weapon is gone. Months of farming and planning, a large investment of NX, just poof, gone, vapor, vanished, never existed.

1: The only remotely viable option here that will result in you having high end gear. But you still need a massive amount of input in terms of gold and material to create your gear out of the shards.

2-12: You can run the methods you described for 8 hours a day and end up with less than 500m at the end of the year.
11* This is such a stupid (and slow, but at least it's constant, hey, the botters are rolling in now) way of generating gold. And it's just about locked to two classes only so good luck with that if you play something else.

13: When you pay in Vindictus what are you winning at?

    14: That's not a method.

Did I accidentally step into a time machine? Sure feels like 2015 in here.
Or just another person who doesn't even play the game talking about the game

The majority of veteran players are now gone. You are suffering from the lack of knowledgeable players.
Without those better players around to "police" the boards and answer topics like these you feel you are subjected to them more and more.

Also, without a healthy number of knowledgeable players around in the game discussing actual game mechanics and endgame things you get to bask in these kinds of topics where people who don't know too much about the game ask really pointless questions or make really uneducated assertions about the game.

    ===========

Back to the question at hand.

A purple +10 weapon with purple level 90 gear will allow you access to all endgame content with the exception of Pretty Spear Blonde Leather Tightsuit Girl and Giratina.

But I will cede the point that attack requirements on quick battles should simply be removed. There is literally NO reason for their existence nowadays, especially with the population as small as it is. There are almost no boats being hosted. It could be that some players who have computers able to host are being walled by Nexon's stupid attack requirements for S2 and S3 raids.

I understand that strictly speaking from a profit point of view this is desirable because it will force players to buy enhance runes to at least get a +10 purple weapon. Which will then become instantly useless because if you want to progress from there you have to get an orange weapon and then buy more enhancement runes to get +10 on that again. That's profits for Nexon.

Yet at the same time it is driving players away by making them really annoyed. Annoyed enough that they come to the forums to make these kinds of topics discussing attack caps. I urge Nexon to really think about why player are playing the game and why player population is declining in Vindictus. You have a great product here that you can market and sell really well to a gaming playerbase that have already become mired into the "difficult boss battles" approach of Dark Souls and BloodBorne. No other game offers this kind of combat system. But if you continue in profiteering and demanding players who just want to enjoy the game to pay a premium to access the game then they will more than likely quit the game and move on to other games. You must have internal statistics that show that player population is lower than ever. That must show in terms of profit revenue from Vindictus.

I'm asking the management to actually play the game and take a look at what the walls and constraints are for players enjoying the game. I know you're probably just some person that comes into a job or some suit up in corporate and all you see are dollar signs on a chart going up or down. But that's not how you run a successful game. All you're doing with how disjointed you are to the playerbase is showing the players you don't care and driving the game into the ground until you reach a point where it's unprofitable and then you sell it off. Look at Dungeon Fighter and Dragon Nest. Talk to the veteran players who have played this game since forever. Talk to the players who have played it forever and have nothing to show for it. There is a disease in Vindictus with the destruction of items upon enhancement and it is taking its toll on the players. Literally culling the numbers and soon the numbers will show a loss of money at every quarterly report. Even the players who don't partake in enhancing feel it as a canker or a sore that depletes their enjoyment of the game once they have played enough to reach that point.

You are in a position to fight for changes that will bring Vindictus back to marketable standards and generate a great amount of income by allowing players to obtain what they want and what they need to enjoy the game and to keep playing the game.

  • Rank the characters/weapons by difficulty

Greatsword Hurk >>>>>>>>> rest >>> Staff Evie >>> Chainblade Vella >>> Bow/Crossgun Kai.

Greatsword Hurk has the hardest playstyle requiring constant multiple inputs going forward and backwards to maintain optimal distance to hit with the back-end of your smashes.

The speed of mixing up between the two attacks and the technical knowledge required to time these attacks against the boss' own attacks as well as maintaining constant and optimal damage output means Greatsword Hurk is the hardest to play.

If you don't think so then you have obviously never played Greatsword Hurk at an endgame level, you have no idea what you are talking about, and/or you're naturally a god at Greatsword Hurk and that kind of multi-directional, multi-pathing, multi-timing attack pattern comes to you more naturally than playing Scythe Evie (dodge when attacked, 3rd or 4th smash in when you can and trigger, that's all her gameplay requires).

If you doubt me you can show me a solo requiring more accurate multiple inputs and more timing than this while maintaining constant attack pressure against the boss.
