I try to make the use of overflow after using volcano so I am usually deprived of stamina after I gigantic strength -> bigbang. After that, I just use dempsey until my stamina is full before getting the Ruminate buff.
I feel like that stamina isn't usually a huge issue if you don't spam too much bolo/blast with weave so I never really use diamond rush or dempsey (except in the situation I mentioned).
Bulk of your sp will come from consistently landing smashes and stacks. I've learned from experience that risking a guillotine is sinply not worth it half the time over just performing a f2nd or 3rd smash unless you are positive you can pull it off.
Something I personally like to do include using little rat at the end of every combo while trying to start each combo out with a kd. You are given some sp if they connect along with a nice buff to make your gameplay more stamina efficient allowing you to essentially never have to wait for stamina to regen. These gains ofcourse won't be huge but it does make a consistent difference in the longrun.
