  • "SELLING NX BLOWOUT DEALS!" pop up

    Use a good blocker, create a rule for it, it's gone 5evah.

    Edit: or nah. This thing is nefarious, hah. I wasn't going to buy NX anyway, but this looking like it's from a shady online casino mess sure af put me off if it if the thought had even crossed my mind.

    Okay, so I had to do three things:

    That should take care of it. Congrats, Nexon, at least NCSoft keeps their annoying pop ups in game, and they took those out due to player requests. Whoever runs your media campaign has zero tact and apparently next to no knowledge of what creates an attractive offer for buyers. That was about the slimiest, gaudiest set of pop ups I've ever seen on a gaming site. So unprofessionally presented.

    Too bad they're nuking half the game while they come up with things like this on the other side. So sad. If they hadn't pissed so many people off they'd be rolling in cash from all these cosmetics.

    They definitely don't care a lot about feedback, but surprisingly we get some better returns on it than KR. Things like the Scroll Shop events, for instance. Our connection in KR has made it pretty clear that even the experienced players there are outright ignored. If you read some of the posts in the Future Content section you can see how much KR players dislike a lot of the recent changes that have happened lately, especially the ones that were pushed with no test server feedback, and nothing is done about.

    Nexon/DevCat just don't care. You can also see that with TERA, which is now run by Nexon, at least in KR.

    Disappointed with Vindictus i returned recently after many years to SWTOR, only to be appalled at finding the same issues i was running away from.     EA's horrible management, which is somehow even worse than Nexon's, the Dev team and Community Managers lying to players about changes that are coming and stringing them along so that they'll continue to play and spend money, and the worst engine of any AAA MMO released as a contemporary. The low level story was amazing well but that just got worse and worse as time went on and they were churning out content just to do it rather than to make the game more enjoyable. It had lots of potential, but everything that could go wrong to take away from such a strong property has gone wrong and it's not even worth logging on anymore. I actually have a nice bit of Cartel Coins saved up that I could go crazy with, but I can't be bothered to download the game again in its current state.

    The horrible changes to the skill "trees" as well. What they've done is the equivalent of Vindi only allowing each character to have one SP move and maybe two selected for a battle. There's no choice at all as to how you play characters. You choose a tree, you do a specific rotation, and that's that. There used to be tons of theory crafting around SWTOR because of the flexibility available, with people testing on parsers to see how things shook out. Some people could pull off viable damage numbers doing things their own way. That is dead and buried, and the game continues to change for the worse, getting oversimplified to the point that all joy is gone.

    The game is just bad, and it saddens me that EA was able to renew their rights to Star Wars digital titles, meaning that no one else will be able to produce something better for at least the next few years. Disney sucks for letting them continue with it, but that's life.

    Just look at the state of the game: Willy and Muckrot take longer to kill than Havan, Iset, or Ulchas. How does that remotely make sense? If they wanted to make it easier to get to end game, that's fine, the boosted XP does that, but there is no reason to make bosses trivial the way they are. Part of what kept people here was getting better against bosses and then having to step it up again for Hero mode.

    And as for everything over 90 being fine it really isn't. Glas, Braha, Lugh, and Regina all get dropped in no time because of the ridiculous payout of Add. Damage, and no ones not going to go for it because of the speed benefit from high enhance weapons. On armor it's a choice, but the only reason people didn't enhance 90 and up before was because para stones weren't plentiful enough to yolo to 8 or higher and people just weren't going to rune to protect it. Back to bosses, the only thing keeping Abom and the Purple Pup from dropping just as quickly is that they can push phases that force DPS to stop--hopping out of combat range. Add. Damage is so high that some groups all but ignore Abom having his shield up. Glas and sometimes Eochaid both die before there is literally any chance of getting their breakoffs. Do you remember the last time Glas actually made it to being downed twice with spears and there was potential to hit his bracers twice?

    These changes are garbage, and if it weren't for friends who still play on occasion to enjoy it I'd peace out just like I did with SWTOR and GW2. As it stands I enjoy it for what it is where I can, but 0 dollars I have will be going back into this title until 8-man is restored, old Hard Mode is returned, and something is done to make for a challenge other than 10,000 phases of red unblockables and invulnerability cycles on bosses.
