  • Some Feedback/comparison on Battle voices.

The assignation of the voices to each actor (i can speak at least for female chars) was totally wrong imo (excluded Belle).
Personally i think also Miri voice is good (only voice lines) but the battle clips need to be reworked. The other females are just a nope.

You can't just give some low and aged pitch tone voice to some young girls like arisha and eira (just to mention a couple).

Also the attitude given to some char is out of their char personality.
Why Eira must be perma grumpy af out of the bat, or lynn sound always irritated when she alwasy been a playful character.
These side aspects have been added without a specific reason cause they aren't part of the characters background.

I don't think anyone wanted really to say the voice actors sux as actor/actress themselves, they probably fits for other roles, but the choice of the ppl and their voice was unfitting for 'these' characters. You need a special ear sensibility, experience, and on top of that knowledge about this game in order to take such decisions.

In fact the very first impression i had when i heard them for the first time was: "whoever choosen the voices have no clue of what this game is and probably they have been given just a script with some vague guidelines on what to do and left all the rest to their own choice."

    @Kurs

    1. The " we should show some respect and appreciation cause they did some hard work" is just silly. But Sixth already explained you why.
It doesn't work like that when you're selling a product and there're a lot of ppl here that are customers.

    2. As someone said already is not anymore something subjective when most of the ppl don't like it, a very few like, and a few others doesn't really care.
And not necessarely ppl are bound to the original sounds just cause they have been used since the first version.
I played KR/NA/EU/TW and i could still tell that some (old) na/eu voices were better than kr and viceversa.
But after this patch if we now compare kr to na, the old NA voices or korean voices are way better.
Despite probably 90% of the ppl don't understand a word about korean, you can clearly tell they're more fitting and ppl would prefer them over NA voices.
(Taiwan old voices were just horrible. Ten times worse than what we got).

However since i don't truly believe they'll record them again, i expect them at least to give us a toggle to switch between NA(new/old) and KR for the sake of everyone, and cause is a cheap solution (for them).
In the game files atm are still present the new voices, the old one, and also the korean version.

  • New Voice for Characters

PLEASE give back the old voices (at least the battle voices) or give us the option to switch between USA/KR.

The females especially (all of them) are painful to hear. Eira on top of that with that absurd grumpy af transgender heavy lifter voice and Arisha 40yo smoker old hag.
Not to mention Miri that sounds like she's being raped everytime she swing, and lynn on perma period. The only good one is Belle.

Also how we're supposed to play or wear with cute stuff such young girls and hear such horrible old voices?
Males voices honestly are way better and quite fitting (most of them) but i understand that some ppl doesn't feel their char with that voice so just give us the universal option to switch between voices...

Idk how who directed this thing allowed to push forward that crap.
    Please.

  • Please revert harvesting!

Completely agree, this unwanted change is just messing up everything cause now everyone who harvest is forced to manually drop them in the chest or take each tree from the guild chest in order to plant a new one. Guildies have to be informed and asked to do this every single time and ofc not everyone is willing or remember to do so.
It's an additional bother that nobody want or have time for.

I'm neutral instead about the additional reward sent via mail to a random guildy, even if i don't see the point in doing that.
If that's a way to incentivate ppl to use the guild farm field those ppl who never used it will continue to not care even more cause now they get rewarded by doing nothing.

And speaking more in general, the whole guild house which was meant to be a big thing, and the devs themselves said they would have developed it even more throught time still remain quite useless aside those 3 4 cheap functions.

We have kitchens but we can't cook despite we have the talent feature.
We have baths but we can't use soaps or special guild soaps.
We have beds that restore fatigue points in the other servers but nothing was done for EU/NA (how about increasing/gain EXP or AP while using beds or giving out other small rewards?)

Or for example giving a daily guild bonus (ex luck +10 or anything worthy)
that trigger only if at least 5 ppl spend 10 15min together in a specific zone of the guild house (pool, garden, lounge, bedroom, disco etc)

I mean if you want there're many things u can think of. In the end are the guilds that keep ppl sticking to the game mostly.

Raids are faked up and actualy no fun to do them.
Huhh? If you find them no fun, why do you even want to get on those boats? Or better yet, why do you even play the game?
The game is all about grind and raids, and you find them no fun, yet you want ten rare drops per day just to play more raids you don't even like doing? Interesting.

It does demand a lot of time and/or money. Yes. It's an MMORPG. Again, all MMORPGs are the same in this regard, so it's not a Vindi-exclusive issue, it's how the game genre is built up. If people leave because of this, they have issue with the game genre itself, not with Vindi, and they will most probably leave every other MMOs they will try in the future too for the same reason.

While is true that the amount of rare drops depend on the amount of raids run by the players you should consider that with such low playerbase the drop rates should be tweaked according to the average amount of players online within 1 month or 2 or such. Those values can't stay absolute but rather being relative cause we don't have the same pool of ppl that play in Korea or Taiwan/China where they're A LOT more.

Atm the drop rate for raids is quite shitty, a lot of ppl complain about it even veterans, demotivating a lot of ppl do to them and those who really love the game are pushed to farm OS which is the only 'realiable' source of incomes.

The sentence 'is a MMO and it demand a lot of time or money' doesn't stand a chance... at least with 'this' MMO that unfortunately has not much to offer cause the activities in game turns all around spamming the same shitty s3 raids everyday or farming OS. Stop. Nothing else to do.
A game should be enjoyable and should payback for your efforts and time you spend while atm some ppl spend 1 week while others can spend a month to find something. This is just unabalanced and unfair other than being heavily demotivating for new and old players.
Also you should play regularly a game for a few hours not be pushed to play 8 12 or more hours cause the game give you nothing in return.
At that point is not a game anymore is a job and a source of stress.

Someone suggested (very wise idea) the they should invent some 'shard system' where even when you don't drop anything you will be still able to stack up enough shards relative to one specific rare so you can buy it some point after X runs. Work -> payoff and not Work -> rng maybe who knows when.

If you put this togheter with the fact this game is istance based hence no open world you're playing in a box where you're allowed/forced to do only a short range of activities to progress or even in order to buy the stuff you like, those make you stick with the game (yes also outfits etc. Not everybody play only for stats and improve their e-pen, everybody have their different goals and tastes).

So i agree with the others when they say the drop rate (talking for EU server) should be checked out and this game in general need a larger range of activites where ppl can invest their time and find some fun, not just those freaking 10 raids spam.

Just to mention a couple, they could improve and enlarge the fishing activity giving to it more meaning and making it useful for the pve, with special items crafting, foods etc (not those cheap crap we have atm but serious stuff that help in battle and that could create new ludicrous markets).
Same could be said for the farming activity (plants etc) or the alchemy etc whatever come in their mind, and if they aren't such creative they can still copy
    from others.

They felt the need to reply to BDO Shai with Bel but they don't spend a sec to thinking about copying the real useful and entertain stuffs from other games like could be life skills that could give the player a wider range of choice in what to do or earnings when they log in.

And as last i say, the phenom of the goldbuyers is spreading A LOT lately and Nexon is doing absolutely nothing about it.
This is affecting heavily the market making everything absurdely overpriced because there's always someone who buy gold and pay those prices,
600m (in EU) for an outfit, 200m for a pet, 50m for a scroll? Are you freaking kidding me? Might be 'normal' for NA but never been for EU server.
The game give always the same amount of gold, while the prices goes skyrocket due to the fact there's always someone who's ready to pay those absurd prices cause they buy gold.

So who is lucky and drop smt whatever if from raid or gacha keep the prices high sure to sell their stuff, while the unlucky players, the free players, and whoever struggle farming everyday see their efforts vanished cause they have to increase the amount of work/frustration in order to follow this sick economy we have atm...
And i didn't mention the new players that ofc with such prices around for anything they rather quit and uninstall and is understandable.

  • Upcoming guild shop price increases -- buy now!

    LoLoBooty wrote: »
You forgot to mention an important thing: The new gob that cost 400 seals is not the normal gob stone, but it has a flat 3% success increase instead of the old 10% on the total. Which mean is slightly more useful on high enhances and way worse on low enhances.

That said the cost in guild seals is still a bit too much high.

    @Dancingstar
I was not aware of this. Can you give specifics where the cut-off is for lower enhances worse and higher enhances better when using the new stone? I also assume it varies whether armor or weapons. For example: For weapons the new stone is worse up to +8 attempts, neutral at +9 attempts, and better attempting +10 or higher.

Yes you just repeated what i said,

    Example 1
Let's say your max success rate is 15% (high enhance aka +15)

    With the old gob (10% on the total): 15% + (10% of 15 which is 1,5) = 16,5%
With the new gob (flat 3%): 15% + 3 = 18% [New Gob is better]

Does the new gob worth 400 guild seals which is more than the double of a normal gob
for just 1,5% increase? Imo no.

    Example2
Let's say your max success rate is 50% (low enhance)

    With the old gob (10% on the total): 50 + (10% of 50 which is 5) = 55%
With the new gob (flat 3%): 50 + 3 = 53% [New Gob is worse]

The moment when is better to use the new gob is from +13 to 15
Before that it's better to use the old one.
However since the price in guild seals is r3tard, I assume is still better to stack the old gobs before it's too late.
