So I'm allowed to make racist remarks and not worry about any repercussions despite it being disrespectful and a generalization against one group of people.

I'm allowed to tell people to stop playing the game for whatever reason I like. I'm allowed to assert that no one else deserves an opinion on the game unless it conforms to what I think about the game. If they don't think the way I do about the game they should stop playing it and go away. Just completely disrespecting any opinion that they may have on the game and tell them they should stop playing the game.

I'm allowed to assert that all people do when they give a different opinion is complain and so I can invalidate their arguments. It's like I think you're more stupid than I am so I won't acknowledge your opinions as opinions. I just think you're complaining.

I'm allowed to just invalidate the opinions of others by calling it "salt" instead of rationally arguing back against them.

-Don't treat the game as a job.
So I can say that someone who is really trying their best in the game to get the best equipment and to learn the game really well needs to stop treating it like a job. They are what is making the game unfun. But I'm not allowed to tell people that having +10 is really crappy for number of the characters because of missing attack speed.

Because I do not yet see warnings issued to any of these posters in that topic. And that's not even all of the disrespectful stuff seen in that topic from other posters. Yet you decide to go after only me? Again, I ask why. I still do not see any other warnings given those posters of which JamesGross has clearly the most toxic and disrespectful ones. Literally gives nothing to the argument and just attacks me.

Your supposed empathy to the players is only empathy to those that think like you do and whose posts you agree with. So don't go acting like you are in the right when you come here to warn only me.

Really, please do. Read my posts in that topic before JamesGross attacked me with that comment and tell me what I said that instigated it.

Also, you choose to give me a verbal warning for what you see as being disrespectful. Yet it can clearly be seen that others are also being disrespectful of me. But you choose to only warn me. This is showing the community is that it's okay to be toxic as long as someone was toxic to you first.

Consider the posts were in reverse. So long as someone else posts before I do and says something that hurts my feelings it can be counted as instigating and I can start insulting their "miserable life" and face no repercussions. Meanwhile that person was just pushing out their opinions about the current state of the game.

But so long as it hurts my feelings I can say whatever I like back to them.

Or rather, more accurately, should I say whatever I like back to them so long as you agree with it you won't punish me but you will punish them?
If yes, then you are abusing your power.
If no, then you need to go back to all of these topics and issue out warnings to everyone that was attacking me.
So pick which one you want so I know whether or not to submit a customer serice request for abuse of power by a forum moderator. But knowing Nexon nothing will be done anyway.

Other players have been attacking me and putting me down and nothing happens.
I make my own opinions known about the game and other people are not respectful of my opinions. But you don't tell them to be respectful.

Something no one has mentioned yet.

If you intend to spend NX on this game there are very few items actually worth the money. And "worth" is extremely relative depending on what your goals in the game are.

-Gremlin pet
-Enhancement Rune
-Enchant Rune (or Premium Enchant Rune, and Exquisite Enchant Rune whenever it's out)
-Unbind Potions (and only if you intend to sell items, if not, worthless)
-VIP/VVIP and Cadet Badge (if you intend to play so much that you cap your raids every day yet still want to try and find more drops, if not, worthless)

That is it. Everything else in the NX shop is quite literally worthless for any player that intends to play for more than a few months.
Arguments can be made for Gnoll mining pet as well but that's just so iffy.

Cosmetic items vary depending on how much you're into that but a premium outfitter to afford the +10% movement speed in town is invaluable.

Figuring out the raid bosses is all up to you as well but the S2 Malina runs can be a little convoluted and I have yet to find a good explanation for how to do those.
If you intend to farm for level 80 accessories and want to know how to run them I can maybe try to write an explanation for what to do on them as well as optimal paths to take. Though, really, it's not that hard and you should be able to figure it out yourself in a few runs.

And if you haven't experienced it already...

The RNG and gear progression in this game has no failsafe. So enjoy being weaponless, enjoy spending thousands of dollars into NX for enhancement runes to get good weapons, or enjoy finding alternate ways of obtaining gold to buy good weapons from other players. Or pray to Nexon to give you a good weapon with enhancing (good luck, if it works you'll be one of literally thousands of players that it worked with and you might enjoy continuing to play the game, guess where the other thousands of players are at now - hint: they aren't playing Vindictus anymore).

Anyone who claims to have a different solution to gear progression than this can provide proof by providing you with a weapon and a twitch stream showing their method.

How do you generate gold then? Please, I'd love to be able to just goldfarm my way to 3bil gold again.

All of the ways you talked about there does not generate gold. It generates income through the gold made by other players. How do these other players generate their gold? Also, all of those methods does not provide steady income. It provides fluctuating income of a few tens to hundred thousands here and there. The only reliable one on there is the farming for S3 materials which can net you a tidy sum if you intend to run for 8+ hours a day. You can generate profit really well. But again, the gold you gain is from selling those materials to other players. Where do those players get that gold from?

For everyone doubting what I'm saying, put all of your gold onto a mule.
Then sell NOTHING. Don't sell any of your drops. Just play the game normally, save all of your drops.
See how much gold you make after you complete content.

I will tell you right now that if you are doing this with level 80+ gear when repair costs were normal before this previous patch, you would have 0 gold and after a bit all your armor and weapons will be broken and you have no gold to repair them. Even NPCing stuff for that piddly squat ~30k in a large haul wouldn't let you survive as your repair costs easily outstrip that.

The only way to maintain the repair costs then was to sell your items to other players for massive amounts of gold.
But again, if everyone is selling stuff to others for millions of gold, but no one is generating that gold, where does that gold come from?


After this reduction in repair costs now you MAY just MAYBE gain a bit of gold throughout the day as you do runs. But literally not enough to warrant 3+mil for shard upgrades at Dianan. Or 250mil for a weapon. You'd literally have to be playing the game for decades to solidly generate that kind of gold.

So, if no one can generate that gold on their own, where does that gold come from?
And if no one can generate that gold on their own, why is our repair costs and our items, and our NPC functions cost those amounts?
It's like Nexon literally knows about the gold inflation from gold botters and they're okay with it. They think the game should function on that gold inflation.
