  • Character Deletion

Did you confirm the deletion? Deleting a character is a two-step process:
First you must place the character on a deletion pending list, then after 2 days you have to confirm the deletion and type a message exactly as you see it.

  • Weapon main replacement question.

If you want to be 100% sure, you actually do it yourself and find out. With that said, I'll clarify with a copy-paste answer:

-Only enhancement level will ever reset.
-Enhancement level will only reset when changing the color of your primary component.
-You will get a warning before replacement if the Enhancement level will reset.
-It is impossible to replace a higher quality component with a lower one.

Examples of when Enhancement will reset:
    1) Your current primary is BLUE, replacing to PURPLE will reset the enhancement.
    2) Your current primary is BLUE, replacing to ORANGE will reset the enhancement.
    3) Your current primary is PURPLE, replacing to ORANGE will reset the enhancement.

Examples of when Enhancement will NOT reset:
    1) Your current primary is BLUE, replacing to BLUE will not reset the enhancement.
    2) Your current primary is PURPLE, replacing to PURPLE will not reset the enhancement.
    3) Your current primary is ORANGE, replacing to ORANGE will not reset the enhancement.
    4) Replacing secondary components (lightweight, keen, stable, perfect, solid, or smooth) will never reset your enhancement.

    Examples of Impossible replacements:
    1) Orange components cannot be replaced with purple or blue.
    2) Purple components cannot be replaced with blue.

I will re-emphasize that you will get a warning message if your item is at risk of being reset.

  • all ive ever wanted out of an event

Well that insane Elchulus vid was with a Sword Vella, I think. Still surprised that would surpass Lann with full buffs including Acceleration during Fury, but I dunno what all the multipliers are.

The Elchulus vid done on JP server? That was a Chain-blade Vella.

  • Swirly Prize Wheel Event Info

Original Thread Title: Prize Wheel is Back!

This was probably one of the best events last year as long as you played the waiting strategy (even more if you were one of those that exploited the bug). Assuming the wheel works the same as before.

    -Clarification-
The wheel is misleading; none of the items are actually an equal 1/16 chance. You will get C-Grade items most frequently, even if they only make up 3 slots of your wheel. However, take comfort in knowing that the 16 items displayed will indeed be the only items obtainable on that spin, meaning you won't get a random Goddess Grace if it isn't present on the wheel.

    -Strategy-
If there is a particular item you want from the Spin Wheel (or items you REALLY don't want), accumulate as many tickets you can before spinning. Ultimately this means gathering and gathering until the last possible day of the event. The Super Charge ability is essentially your way of re-rolling the board until you see desired prizes. 41 days, 8 tickets per day for being logged in, which should leave you with 328 tickets by the end of this event.

It is not ideal to spin if there is a Festival Trophy or soap of any kind in your C-Grade slots because you'll end up with a lot of these, and they are generally easy to obtain.

As pointed out by 2edgy4u, there are no specific super charge tickets this time, you just use regular tickets to supercharge the wheel. It may be wise to simply limit useless prizes in anticipation of not getting a good S-Grade prize wheel.

The rarest and most achievable prize is arguably the B-Grade Swirly Prize Coupon because they can be exchanged for Reilly Toy weapons and avatar outfits, and are trade-able within your account via mail and shared storage. I argue that it's not because the Daily Missions across multiple characters will already provide several outfitter pieces if not all the outfit pieces that you desire.

  • Enhancement process (pre-Rise)

Overall the guide is good, but some info is missing or incorrect.

The DEF benefits for armor is not generic and is incorrect. Only level 90 armor share the same benefits as plate, and anything lower is still based on what type of armor it is. The DEF gained when armor is destroyed is also a percentage rather than a flat number. Additionally, all weapons and armor gain a weight reduction when enhanced.

Adding on a bit of minor information: your item can temporarily surpass the 200 durability cap when you successfully enhance it, but this display will fix itself and drop to 200 upon re-logging.

Staves and scythes also have a separate ATT value, which is notably strange in its increases, and its exact uses are still a mystery to me although I suspect it affects kick damage.
