The only fun that I can confirm is gambling because the game provides such easy ways to obtain the items. Vindictus has been reduced to a construction game where you just farm for items to try to build +20 fully enchanted, power infused, and 5* quality item. That is why the stat-ranking system was put into place, so the contest is now about how hard you can farm and how lucky you can get. It is no longer about fighting fomors, defeating tough foes, and walking the "Hero's Journey" that the main story made such a big deal out of.

Everything that Season 3 built and fixed was flushed down the toilet.

Learn Sylas' main smashes. Despite him being ranged, his attacks make him move forward, and that's when you want to get him with Dark Cloud. Thunderleg through his smashes to get the invulnerability buff for successfully dodging and Dark Cloud him, or Dark Cloud him before he gets his smash off. If you can knock him into the air with Dark Cloud then you can juggle him with Fishtail. More attack speed will allow you to juggle opponents longer - potentially enough to get a Full Bloom before they hit the ground, effectively executing them on detonation that follows.

Try to Little Rat into one of his smashes or projectiles to get the Windstep buff and try to keep it for when he tries to flee to a long distance so you can chase him down quickly by activating it. Control your stamina and don't spam your dodges needlessly.

Due to the changes made to Transformation, there is almost no difference between Paladin and Dark Knight now. The only real differences in capabilities is that Paladin's Grasp will petrify minor enemies versus the Dark Knight's slow if you train that upgrade, and Paladin's active Conviction skill versus the Dark Knight's Fissure. The major factor when deciding should be on who you would like to PvP against in the future because there was a planned PvP mode where Dark Knights fight Paladins.

This sucks, as many of the lv.80 weapons are good looking, so are the armors. Black Pearl/Pirate, Armageddon armors look the best in level 80's gears imo.
Not a very wise move... They are basically throwing away many of their weapons and armors art designs to the trash can... +sad

You can still pick up many of the items though. You just can't craft them.


Just a side note, my Premium Rookie tunic and pants that I kept since the beginning of my time in Vindictus still look the same. The new ones can be bought from Clodagh, but they look different. For example, the pants aren't shorts anymore; they will cover the entirety of your legs.
