You're wrong.
  • Re: 4-man ex-raids

What you're missing is the idea that we are being arbitrarily restricted to 4 people in a raid. What if you have a group of 6 and want to do raids, your choices just got severely limited, and some of the best raids are the earlier ones.

Before this update, if you wanted to 4 man, you just got 4 people and pressed start, now that's all you have. It's the idea of restricting the player that's really the issue here, not balance or difficulty, it's a bad change to compensate for how poorly this game tends to run on a peer to peer connection.

A little more North American Advertisement would do wonders. But Advertising costs money. They want profits, not expenditures.

Here's the thing though, they've tried that and it hasn't really had all that much of an effect, what they need is targeted advertisement, and for a community member to make the advertisement itself.

I remember seeing the Vindictus ads on Youtube a few years ago and they were awful, it looked like shovelware. If they ever decide to advertise this game again, they need to target somewhere that would be home to a large group of potential players, such as Crunchyroll. NA also needs to create an ad that showcases the niche elements that would entice players to actually check out the game.

Either that, or do a collaboration with another popular fantasy MMO Nexon or some other f2p company runs to attract players to this game.

is 30 bucks in like 7 years(dont remember when the beta was) a lot of money?

You can spend more than that! Think of all the Nexon employees you're letting down by being so stingy, it's disappointing how little you've spent, what kind of support is that?

I'd say you should start with at least 100 gachas each time a new one is released, and get more if you don't get all the exclusives. Make sure Nexon knows how much you love them! Making posts like this is cheap, it's time for you to step up your game and show them you care, anyone can be a keyboard warrior for a misguided sense of loyalty, show them you're a true whale and spend, spend spend!

And don't forget to list all your extra stuff after you've sufficiently tanked the price of cash consumables, so that smart players like myself can keep trucking along.

I love seeing new people come here and preach to us about the value of blind loyalty.

@SAX Just make sure you spend lots of money on this game, like a good little narwhal, so that I can keep playing and complaining for free. :^)

  • Coming back

4-man only for everything but Royal Army and Redeemers, 12 max for Royals, and +20 make me not so enthused despite a lot of other good changes. I really, really do not understand how they bring in so many positive changes and then add in some like those that make reaching "the pinnacle" even more difficult

I can see the appeal of four man raids, especially since victory in raids feels more like an inevitability than an actual fight. Because there's so many people, I often find myself just spacing out and pressing attack, but if I host a 2 man Rochest raid, I feel a lot more engaged in the fight, and it's usually a little more enjoyable. 4 mans will also be naturally easier to host and less laggy, so there's that aspect too. The devs might just be trying to limit people's exposure to heavy lag by limiting the size of parties, which is kind of a shady way to do things.

That being said, KR is approaching this from the wrong angle. there's nothing inherently wrong with 8 man raids, so removing them is pointless, plus it limits what a large guild can do. What they should have done is introduce some sort of incentive system for people who chose to do solo, duo, or 4 man raids. This would give small groups a boost while large groups get the bonuses from haveing an 8 man in quick battle.

I wonder how Kraken is going to be now.
