The ignorance of NA management towards community's will is unacceptable. I really am surprised how do they keep their jobs for so long. This kind of close-minded management shouldn't make … (more)decisions for bigger groups of people like in MMO games.
The rule is simple: Happy client - is a good client.
If you think that you can sustain this kind of approach towards this service - then you'll lose it all.
Get smart - be critical about your own actions. Accept the mistakes you do and improve at those things instead of keeping your position like a stubborn ass, just to show your authority. The truth is simple: you su*k at your job.
1. TIR Coins - a system that was tested and worked very well on EU servers, helping to get rid of bots/inflation/gold selling, and giving ability to progress for many players which otherwise would be very limited for them. People want it - you don't give it to them. Because why would you do something that is good for your clients? No, let's remove it because 'we' know better what's good for other people than they know themselves (sarcasm).
2. Fansites? Helpful tools which aren't provided by Nexon? Who would've want it? Really... i mean it is only used by the half of our playerbase, it's like nothing (sarcasm). We know that Sanitee didn't do anything malicious, yet you ban her permanently based on some report from your broken software (BlackCipher).
You say that you're not responsible for the shutdown of the website? What a bullsh*t! Simple trial of dismissing the accusation because again - you can't accept your own mistakes. You know what's a chain reaction?
a) The only reason the Fansites are up and running - is because of the passion towards the game from the people that develop it. The intent of helping other people. People who make it - don't get paid for it, and spend their own money/time on it.
b) You ban the developer of the website.
c) The developer can no longer neither develop the website or continue to play the game.
d) The reason for its existence is gone.
e) How is it not your fault?
Additionally you discourage any other people from doing any help of this kind to other people - who btw. are your clients, and what benefits the client - benefits you (at least in this case)... and you don't even have to pay for it! But no, you don't want it LOL.
The inability to accept own mistakes is a hindrance if anyone tries to achieve any kind of progress. If you deny the issue - how can you ever care to solve it? Again, get smart and stop being an ass towards your clients. Think critical about your own actions instead of trying to defend yourself all the time just to keep appearances. (less)
I am a little confused on some of the other posts however, do you players want Nexon to allow fansite owners to be above the rules, isn't that a form of favoritism?
Seriously? Favouritism? Don't you comprehend anything we've just explained?
1. Fix your BlackCipher. The only reason she got banned is because of YOUR faulty software - not her actions (she didn't do anything wrong).
2. BE MINDFUL. Don't act like bots who just follow simple guidelines. Rules are never accurate, and exceptions should be made in certain situations - which is why you have to judge it separately depending on intentions and freakin LOGIC.

I strongly disagree. The decision about closing Vindictus Inn is the correct one.
Case and point:
1. Vindictus Inn is a useful tool for tons of players (helps players = helps Nexon).
2. Most of players don't even know who's behind this website - so how could they care about ban of Sanitee?
3. If the website stays, not many people will speak up, because it won't make basically any difference to them, if the website is gone however - people will notice.
4. It's not only about Sanitee (it is currently), however if you've read the post on Vindictus Inn, you will know that the issue is with BlackCipher that falsely detects 'intrusion', which means that anyone who would like to contribute and help Vindictus community by managing this kind of website - is in danger of receiving ban.
Removing the website is the best option to grab attention of players who find this website useful, to show Nexon how much helpful it is, and that people who develop it - make good work, and by no means they shouldn't receive any ban. In fact they should pay them lol xD, they basically do all the work that Nexon should - FOR FREE... and what do they receive instead? BAN.
I've seen ridiculousness of NA management, heard about it from others tons of times... you shouldn't accept anything they do just because you accept their authority. They are normal PEOPLE same as you - they make mistakes as well... and possibly not everybody really cares about their job and they just follow simple guidelines without any reasonable considerations regarding separate cases.

Bish please... xD http://i.imgur.com/2I1fJBI.jpg I would rek ya all if we'd have a chance to play without lags... and no Arrow, after merge hits it doesn't matter, because our locations won't change - which means lags. If you'd want to play competitively and fair - someone from EU would have to come to NA, or someone from NA would have to come to EU for holidays or something xD... because otherwise one side will be in huge disadvantage of 300 ping f.e. (depending on which server you'd play) which is pretty much unplayable for Vindictus PvP.
(2) Dungeon PvP is skill-less. There is no point to even talk in terms of 'power ranks' or whatever if it's about dungeon PvP. There is no counter system whatsoever, normal attacks knock down opponent and invulnerability works as in PvE (generally everything works like in PvE, which just doesn't work - you may as well just perma knock someone), etc. etc. Dungeon PvP is just attack spam basically - no thinking at all.
(3) If it's about power ranks for Arena (1v1) - it is more complicated. In general, basically any character can win against any (tho, the characters without 'grab' ability can't counter dodge - which means that if opponent will spam dodge against them, there isn't really much what they can do... tho that depends on situation as well). Enormous factor in Vindictus Arena PvP - is personal design. Vindictus combat offers huge freedom of movement and tiny adjustments of abilities (which make huge difference). So you can have 2 exactly the same characters, but 2 different players on each - one will be able to do something, and the other won't.
Some characters are easy to control, some are more complicated. Some have little possible combinations, some have more. Some characters are way too OP, some way too weak.
To make good power rank, you'd have to separate it on 2 factors:
1. Personal skill vs Effectiveness (it would look like something in this graph - open link below): http://i.imgur.com/GaUHaZ2.png Some characters are already pretty strong even if you aren't really good (like Karok Pillar/Cestus/Hurk for example), and some require much more advanced player to make something out of it, but they can be also very strong (Lynn for example). Some characters will be pretty weak in both cases as well. It all depends on how good you are - and how good is someone you play against.
2. Interactions between characters. It also depends which character plays against which. Because for example, one character can be good against second, however that second can be good against the third, however the third can be good against that first one. There isn't really any 'straight line' which you could draw according to which characters are the strongest.
However in general, you can notice those which are way too OP (nevertheless - it won't be always accurate). It also depends on who do you ask, because it's quite subjective. Most of people will always think that their main character 'isn't the most OP', and that other characters are way too strong. Most of people are bad at self-criticism and often favour their own EGO rather than what's truth. Most of them don't even have proper knowledge to make any accurate statement/judgement (but they will do so anyway). So my personal advice - don't listen to these bullcrap opinions, and simply try to improve yourself as much as you can against all characters - because there is always a room for improvement. However if for some reason you'd like to know my own subjective opinion about characters rank in general (again - it won't be accurate in every situation), here it is:
My ranking is based on gameplay, where people don't abuse each other by attacking right after knock when someone stands up (there is no way to defend from it, so it's considered abuse... at least by those more advanced/knowledgeable players).
I personally can defeat most of the time any character with any character (assuming we play on equal stats - equipment), and there is still a lot of room for improvement left to me i think. It all depends on opposite player tho, for now i didn't find anyone who could surpass me, however i've meet some people who give me quite a challenge (f.e. @KuraiHotaru who posted in this thread as well). And yes, i know it reads like i would be some EGO-maniac who thinks he's the best and that's all, but i assure you that's not it. I am very capable of admitting to mistakes when someone proves me wrong - because admitting the mistake is the first step towards improvement. However i'm also not much influenced by peer pressure and i care mostly about truth. So as much as i'm capable to admit my own mistakes, i'm not afraid to say that i'm pretty damn good as well - as long as it's truth according to my experience. Point is - you can be good with all those characters. (less)
