About Me
I'm just a chill and casual player from the closed beta days.
I've been destroying my old gear for 6 years now over and over to keep my appearance.
Thats what I've been doing. I'm tired of destroying my old gear through use of Premium Fusion runes. That's why I'm suggesting this.
EDIT: That is unless you're suggesting I can use a premium Fusion rune to give an avatar piece the looks of regular gear. But, anytime I've tried, it won't let you fuse an avatar piece with regular gear.
All I want is the ability to convert regular gear into a costume piece that can be equipped in the Avatar slots. Being able to fuse the appearance of regular Gear with the properties of an avatar piece would solve this issue, but the game doesn't let you. It gives you an error saying you can't fuse anything with a duration, which is odd considering my costume pieces are permanent.
Don't expect to solo the S3 raids if this is your first rodeo. Find parties and take her down with a team. Same thing goes with further S3 raid bosses. Once you gear up and become more powerful + gain more experience fighting solo'ing will start to become possible
1. Most quests can be accepted via the new story mode system we got with the RISE update. You could still run back and forth to all the npc's and locations, but if you want to expedite the leveling process, use the story mode option.
2. The majority of "junk" drops can be dismantled via your craft (jeweler, weaponsmithing, etc) into a catalyst of some sort provided it's a weapon/armor. In the higher levels, you can dismantle weapon/armor composite pieces via the NPC Dianann in Roch. Everything else can be sold via the market if it's valuable, and incinerated through Flovian if it's not. (Flovian is the npc found at the fire near the colhen docks & there's a quest to unlock the npc.)
3. A lot of the "older" items that no longer serve a purpose can be thrown away provided its use wasn't changed to something else. Or you could be like me and keep them as mementos from the old days. Btw, if you have an old Oblivion ES laying around, I'll buy it
4. As for reprocessing with Kristie, I'm honestly not sure at all about that tbh.
PS: The community is full of people willing to help, but Vin's in-game character limit in the chat/whisper makes giving detailed answers difficult. That's probably why you didn't get answers in game.
Have you done the quest to unlock your Gathering proficiency?
If so, what level is your Gathering proficiency at?
I'm going to assume you've learned the Gathering proficiency, but there are two different types of luminary trees.
The regular ones you can gather from at any level, but if it has a shimmering glow I believe you can only gather from it once your proficiency reaches 90.
If you're trying to gather from a shining tree but it's not letting you, then your proficiency isn't high enough yet.
