  • If you could change one thing about Vindictus...

I'd split devCAT away from Nexon and hand the game over to a publisher who'd give it the care it deserves. Everything else would just kinda fall into place from there.

This is why playerbase is so low mostly, guys with up to 2000 ADD are usually kicked or left dead if they dont have graces, especially in new dungeons and raids.

In my experience, this is incorrect. I haven't seen anybody get kicked from a boat for being poorly geared in a very long time - in fact, that kind of behavior is a relic of pre-Rise Vindictus, so your timeline is kinda backwards. Badly geared players don't even get kicked from Neam boats as long as the party has one or two carries.

Being left dead happens to everyone, geared players included. Just depends on how greedy the people in your party are.

couldnt pass 2800 with +13 Dullahan weapon, all armor is +10, couldnt get more

    Few things -

    - You have a +13 Dullahan weapon. That's more than what many active players manage to get and is easily the most frustrating part of the gearing process due to its cost, barring freak RNG. So grats, you already have the hardest part out of the way. Going above that is a luxury and not functionally necessary.

    - The 2650 ADD you get from a +13 weap and +10 armor is enough to do every single current raid in the game and pull your weight, especially when the +13 weap is a Dulla. In the context of later raids, this is of course assuming your gear is properly scrolled and your accessories are decent.

    - +12 armor keeps getting cheaper. If you don't want to enhance yourself, you can get +12 pieces for 100-110m if you're a little patient. Gold comes with time, depending on what markets you go for.

Anyways, I don't disagree that the ADD changes were overall terrible and had an adverse scaling effect on the game's difficulty, but there's quite a bit of hyperbole in your posts.

  • We can change Vin's fate!

I honestly feel like some people just want Vindi to shut down in order to vindicate themselves and the stigma-generating rhetoric they constantly spew on these forums. If you're that jaded with the game and have nothing positive or constructive left to say, just... leave.

For me, I continue to play this game because nothing else offers what it does. Irrespective of Nexon's awful management and the general money grubbing nature of the game, the gameplay is still second to none. Even considering that gear scaling has somewhat trivialized a chunk of the current content, the gameplay is still second to none.

I left BDO (which, if you think about it, has even less content than Vindi once you softcap) and went back to Vindi. Dauntless sucks. MHW is fine but has a distinctly different combat feel and is much slower, which I don't like. Nothing else is even in the same ballpark as far as multiplayer games go. I'll stop playing Vindi when something else comes around which properly fills its niche - or when the service shuts down, if it shuts down.

Anyways, I'm not gonna pretend that community outreach is something that's bound to work with Nexon. However, the least we can do is try to foster a better community for ourselves and for players who come in and want to try the game while it's still around, rather than try to hasten its destruction.

  • How long will it take to get back to where I was?

I am literally helping someone save time

No you're not - you're just another salty player memeing about Vindi dying. Kinda wish people like you would leave and let the people who want to enjoy the game, enjoy the game.

Fostering a positive community is one of the things this game needs right now. What it doesn't need is randos trying to scare new/returning players away.

  • Twenty missions a day to get Guild Certificates?

    chicane wrote: »
Doing 10 daily missions is not the problem. 10 raids - every day is typical???

    uhh... yes?

I respect that some people may have very limited time to play games but if you're a level capped player and can't do 10 raids per day, then I honestly have no idea what you're doing with your in-game time. We're long past the era of Vindictus where you'd get kicked from boats for being undergeared, or had to hope you were able to catch a train, or where you'd spend 20 minutes on a boss only to wipe and have to restart. 10 raids in today's Vindictus is a comparatively minimal time investment.
