Oh boy, an event where I need to either pay a lot of real money (or a lot of real gold) to get a gremin pet with fancy clothes, or stalk the whales on channel 1 to try to snap a picture of theirs. Truly a ridiculous, sad event to try to entice people to buy their overpriced reskins of existing items.
I think it's their servers. Some days I'll be able to stay logged in through the night, some days I'll get kicked for no reason. Even with two players in the same household, sometimes one of us will get kicked and the other one won't.
Well this got derailed. Allow me to get it back on topic.
Don't have the buff for QB or allow me to take parties into QB and I won't have guild runs in QB.
I've been saying this for *forever*, but Halo 2 had party systems figured out for games 15 years ago. Why is it that TODAY, LITERALLY TODAY, after a decade, they finally add a system for promoting someone else to party leader? Why is QB separate from normal parties? Why can't I party up with my guildmates and immediately depart for RAR, instead needing to queue at the same time and hope it puts us all together?
Make parties actually able to do everything; let them get a 'guild party buff' equal to the QB buff and let parties join RAR together so it's not a dice roll, then I'll be more 'considerate'.
Adding hero versions of Redeemer battles and giving an exclusive title for it seems like some of the biggest pandering to the pay to win crowd since I've started playing this game around seven years ago. Something for the hardcore spend-a-grand-on-gachapon-lootboxes sect that makes up the top tier of this game's tiny playerbase. Hard not to see this as dismissive to your average player when there's massive server issues going on right now (ghost boats, good ol fashion freezing and crashing, etc).
Suppose the writing's been on the wall for a while though. The stripping away of Hero and Macha and other side content, the gimmicky succubi and thrones, the 'content' they added that was taking two previous raids and arbitrarily putting them together. Just doesn't really seem like something the game NEEDS right now.
