I got banned for grinding Colhen in Flames during the rush to 80 event at Lynn launch. I was like, level 74 or 75 by then. Really frustrating experience -- they didn't even tell me what I … (more)did wrong, other than that my account "was found to be in violation of the Terms of Use (http://www.nexon.net/legal/terms-of-use/) and subsequently closed." I filed a ticket, and they overturned the ban as a "special exception." I filed another ticket to clarify whether I was cleared (I may have gotten unbanned, but I wanted to be sure there were no marks on my account and that I was in the clear, and was hoping for some insight on how I got flagged in the first place). Their response to this follow-up ticket was to warn me that "Note, any future infractions will result in a permanent account closure." No direct addressing of my concerns at all, really. Just an even more alarming, stern-sounding warning despite my presumably being found not-guilty of wrongdoing (they unbanned me -- that does indicate they thought I was fine, right?).
All this because I wanted to get a stupid title. (less)
