Not an Onslaught bug. It's a memory leak ctd that happens the longer the game has been open and the more that has been done/observed in-game (ch 1 makes it ctd a lot faster for instance).
It does suck especially for Onslaught for this reason though, you will even lose rank eventually if it happens again. Best to restart before heading into Onslaught for the time being.
