About Me
Also known as Nocatia (Europe) Youtube: /user/SirRFI
The list is far from complete, which makes the poll kinda invalid.
Why not bring them back? Put all regular versions to the shop permanently, and rotate special/limited versions every 2 weeks / twice a month or something. I can see only benefits from that.
Vindictus was aimed towards reality way more back in the days. There were different type of armors, which varied in several ways (weight, main stat, def↔offense tradeoff, etc.), so did weapon length/reach. With time they started to standardise things and removed some of the features, so they can balance them out more easily. I think balance stat is one of these old concepts, which nowdays is just another stat to max out. You can still trade it for attack speed (Fast ES and alike), so "you attack faster but less precisely".
As far I know weapon length concept was dropped and since then all new weapon types have static range, maybe except the very low level ones. I cannot confirm that though.
I do have a question, on the Obtainability of the Enhancement Stones you say "Common Drops" but actually I got only one from a Boss in over 70 levels. I don't think the stones are a common drop, maybe they're an uncommon or rare drop from battles.
Drop locations for majority of the items have changed since Rise update, but it feels like they drop in most battles, probably starting from 60 to 90 level (as in: excluding Season 3 content, where Paradise stones drop instead). Much like Paradises, I see them showing up frequently. Not as much as other things, but it's still far from uncommon or rare.
Quality is modifier affecting some of the item's base stats. It is presented as golden stars when hovering over the item.
Base quality of an item is always 2 stars, and stats will be altered only if the quality is different from that. The more stars, the higher quality. Consequently, items with just 1 star will be weaker than normally, but higher will be stronger. Items can have up to 5 quality stars.
Not all items displaying quality can actually have different quality than 2. Following item types can be affected, as long they are normal permanent items: weapons, armors, accessories (earrings, rings, jawerly/emblem, necklaces), shields, spellbooks, focus. That being said event/temporary/cash items, artifacts etc. cannot be affected.
Primary method to affect quality is through crafting and happens randomly. Items with 2 quality will get crafted most frequently, following with gradually lower chances in following order: 3 > 1 > 4. 5 stars quality items cannot be crafted. Secondarily, there are some sources where certain items can be obtained with altered quality (usually 3). Quality can be also affected by special coupons listed later this thread.
Please note that the item will become bound upon reaching 5 quality stars, which is the maximum available.
