There is none. The only reasons for actually going to Berbhe are 1) new town exploration novelty 2)the story missions 3)screenshot contest 4)to hide, because you can get out of the map and not ever be bound by the average player
No market for pure aesthetic reasons. Least it's a good way to get screens of the character without having to bother with other players photobombing screenshots... Now if only we could turn off Friend UI when screen shooting.
It's for story reasons. Every NPC except that priest boy isn't human, they are all Fomors it don't make sense if there's a market for HUMANS down in a UNKNOWN location.

It's also cool that the town is permanently dark like the other towns during Halloween events.
Still stupid I mean, no marketboard, not even a traveler? (Idk if he unlocks when you get NPC's there from story) and you can't repair anywhere unless you get there in story so there's really no reason to be in the new town. I've gone there probably around 7 times maybe.
@BloodAngel you can still repair armor via the forge (female NPC in said place), but you can't craft materials or have a market place because Berbhe is technically Fomorian territory, and if I remember right, Fomors and Humans don't get along to open trade routes. Plus, in the storyline, the town is closed off by all directions except for one, where it is infected to the point that if any of the citizens there get infected, then it's a death sentence for the entire town. While Humans may be immune to this goopy substance (somewhat), they can use the infection to their advantage to infect the remaining Fomorian forces, and thus turn them into fragile beings that can be killed with one slash. It's still weird how the infection only targets Fomorian blood while leaving human blood alone, but that's another theory for another day.
