Is social aspect even deader?

Even though we merged, I'm standing in channel one observing and there are a handful of people standing around not talking. (unless they are whispering) Is the social aspect worse than before if that is somehow possible?

    I'm starting to feel like you people get paid to b*tch every day on forums about game being dead,shitty population and useless customer support.

    While all these aspects are true to a certain extent,there's no need to make a thread about these topics everyday

    People still seem to talk pretty freely. A lot of what was lost is the banter on boats waiting for people to join, but with QB and everything cut to 4 players that's pretty much gone.

    Being AFK in ch 1 is endgame.

    Vindictus was never a social game. It's rather a playing with my guild/friends/partner kind of game. The whole instanced dungeon system leads people to do that. It can't even be categorized as an MMO. It's just an MO.

    It was most definitely a social game in the beginning when people ended up getting on boats with complete strangers, chatted while waiting for the last player, and talked tactics on all bosses because they were all difficult to at least some extent.

    That's still a thing with new bosses.

    Content was new back then, content is no longer new, so there's not much to talk about.

    Aside from just joining guilds, if you're looking to talk to people, go to channel one and weeb out.

    For what ever reason you used merge service migration as an argument: it dropped the population, not increased it, because of TIR and XE removal, also some countries got region blocked. Then some time later "Rise" happened and overall lack of content ever since, even ahead if we look at KR.

    100% this. Most of the people who dis the EU version never even played it. It was far superior to Premier, and by default vastly superior to Rise.

    And for those who say XE was easier, that's completely wrong. It wasn't easier; it was smoother. It felt better; it made more sense. Combine that with far more nations getting access and the TIR system, and Nexon made tons of money. Switching EU to Premier and migrating everyone was the worst move Nexon made for this game.
