The major differences between Neamhain and the new episodic content is Neamhain you can't carry 400 potions. You get 15. You only get revived 3 times in Neamhain. You can't use 90% of your items in Neamhain. Goddess Graces are not a thing in Neamhain and 98% of your buffs are not usable in Neamhain. Pets are also disabled in Neamhain. Not only that, but I thought Neamhain was the "endgame" raid for capped players. Suddenly the episode outdoes Neam by a pretty significant margin. The issue is that the jump from the current lv90 S3 bosses to these lv95 bosses' stats is pretty insane, even moreso than the jumps between 70 and 80 as well as the jump between 80 and 90. Imagine the nightmare that lv100 will be. It's also rather impossible to hit 155 crit with lv90 gear in heavy/ plate unless you want to use an ES like Chance, but even then you probably won't hit 155 crit.Yes the Kitty Necklace for some are only Significant/Passion enchanted for some as well, switching it for the AP Necklace and keeping the Soap and Kitty potions for these circumstances can still be useful.Considering being near the attack cap or over it,it includes already having high speed on your weapon as it would have to be from a high level of enhancement. So than even if the kitty was Fast enchanted, you'd still could trade for extra attack to be able to take advantage of the attack limit removal for example.
I'm not saying 28k isn't reachable. In fact, I said it's hard to reach that without full light/ cloth. I already mentioned that my Evie hits 28k without any boosts/ soaps and with her light helmet and pants equipped, but not in full plate because I haven't maxed out attack on my 2* weapons. My str characters are under 28k when att is maxed out and if I replace R/E bracelets with D/E, but probably would hit it with their light helm and pants equipped. Everything was made within the first few days of S3 release minus the light pieces, so 3* and 4* weapons were not a thing.
28k is rather "easy" with soap, D/E bracelets, weapons over 2*, and full light/ cloth because those ES give much more attack over Reinforced, Echoing, etc. Most players will likely not minmax these raids with current gear and if they did, they wouldn't be able to use full plate or heavy. Some people don't want to run around with like 12k def against a boss with 18.5k attack.
That AP Shop Necklace takes the place of your Kitty Necklace and using that over your infused/ enchanted necklace isn't exactly a smart choice.
That Evie has the Neamhain attack boosts and most NA players have soaps/ kitty potion/ AP shop items/ Swaglyfe in effect while bankstanding.
You have a point for the defensive aspect, some won't mind it,but yes others will definitely want to get extra defence and crit res...the boss mechanisms are more complexe than what we where used to and he does hit very hard. But,some will just get use to the patterns regardless and the unblockables have fixed damage...only extra HP can help you there.
But ya personally,i would definitely still use a+14/15 lkev 90 for a great while so as long as i can attack cap.Would still allow me to enjoy the new content while maybe slowly getting to a level 95 weapon.Being 3-4 hit killed is not the best but you can still make up for it as you get used to the battle, while having low speed and additional damage is different.
Will this usher the age of k boats back again?
I just see this as undoing everything good S3 was supposed to bring and going back to HJH idiocy.
I thought Neamhain came with C2EP2 as a sub-quest, but if it is separate content from C2EP2, I don't mind the wait, but I'll be disappointed because I have been looking forward to that raid since KR gave us the first preview.Neamhain was not released with C2E2. It's a completely optional quest due to the fact that it recommends at least 25k attack while the story alone only requires a minimum of 18k WITH a party xD
Looking forward to the new update. Wish Nexon would release updates globally so that players can play the same content at the same time. Or allow our players to try out the content in test servers how Korea allows their players. The problem with that is NA doesn't get the developed content at the exact same time because Localization. If they did that then no one would be able to even access the content due to KR Language restriction on other regions. Localizations aren't done quickly either in big companies due to thorough accurate as possible translations and sometimes some KR words in the game don't have a translation because it is it's own word. I've learned that working on my English Project for the KR server for 3 years now when it comes to Test Server Content Streams.
Apparently this is how DN works now, now that theyve switched to being run by whoever it is theyre run by.Depends on the publisher of that region itself. Since Nexon KR still has DN as well as DFO.
Hurrying... I might get scolded by someone, but really:Well we aren't getting new content every week if that's what you are thinking (if not disregard this message). KR has been slow on content actually. We didn't get any new story since Habitant for nearly 3 months and then got Ceara Story to clear any questions as to WHY you meet Ceara in Berbhe. Every week is Development info on the future content itself. December 30th or the 1st is Test Server opening day in KR for 2nd weapon and trans revamp and some other improvements. I'd say it's nice to have some nice amount of content. NA may start switching gears based on how things go. it all depends on the upcoming content. If they supplied it all at once then you wouldn't receive content for longer than possibly 6 months even. Last time we experienced that was after Season 2 Episode 1 and let me tell you....all regions took a major blow from that.
Welp, the gap between region contents (we're not talking about newest regions out there, like Thailand) has already been shortened less than a year ago. No need to hurry, actually. As one popular meme says: "You can't just jump ahead right to the latest content possible". That is for new players' sake. Else, this talk will walk in infinite loop until either the developer exhausts all the content possible, or something will cause admin/gm wars and the game would literally "burn in the flames of eternal rage" and eventually close up. The game needs players, especially new ones.
The problem, on the other hand, might lie in the incostistency of this said content. Different region publishers do things different according to the content that they receive AND according to player's wishes (e.g. Japan gets Tower of Struggle and Quick Battle feature while CN gets Alban Festival with thanksgiving events). However, returning to the point of not hurrying, even players' wishes have limits. You can't just ask for candy, that will give you over 99999 M.ATT or ATT and over 40 ATT SPD when it turns you into the shame of a toxic player.
That said, I'll just tell one thing. There is no need to hurry, because while new content seems important, it's not what the game is about anyway. Yeah, RNG might urge you to spam Meteor and summon ponies to calm your anger. But new players are also important. Interaction - that is what MMO genre is about, no matter what type of game this is. Let's be more positive, that staff will do whatever is possible to fix bugs (and maybe story typos? Seriously, staff, do something about it! Some people DO read!) and make content as plausible as it should be.
Returning to the new content overview:
Hope there will be new game mechanics implemented for RAID fight, because I doubt that people will kick his legs until his HP reaches 0. Climbing maybe (assuming its size)? Or something environmental?
Seeing as Lv 95 or Lv 100 haven't introduced yet (have they?), new sets might only fit the design and its armor type. However, if by any chance they will, maybe ATT planks will raise up to 35-40k ATT? Could be.
