Sudden surge of cheap dyes?

I don't know if this is happening in other servers, but, In the west server, why are there a sudden surge of cheaper than normal dyes? Is there some event giving away dyes or something?

    I'm serious though, last night Acid put more than 100 dyes up on MP for 1-2m each, and a bunch of other good stuff. I asked if he was about to move to KR but he doesn't reply.
