You are right.
I was on a break when the mana switch came out, So I was like using up all mana and paw'ed for mana gaining. I feel like getting out of control if using paw during mana blade. Tbh I'd more like to have cat statue..

Cat statue is pretty useless after the first 15s of the raid starting. You play well enough to have infinite sp without it.
Honestly, arisha get so little out of artifacts that you might as well just use a fang as failsafe for when mistakes are made; unless you are after a speedrun record. There is no combo system in PRE, you very little benefits for taking 0 hits.
Regarding possible improvements: You can consider to get out of mana blade form when low on stamina, but still have some time to go on the burst cooldown. Charging mana during that time instead of walking around waiting for stamina would allow you to squeeze out a little extra damage. Personally, I try to keep mana in the 100 - 300 zone unless it's the very start or end of the raid.
