I was having shower thoughts while doing Sea of Reflection and came to conclusion that majority of bosses don't have their unique instant kill moves. Obviously Neamhain & Neit duo have quite a bit of them already due to being the ultimate challenge but I thought we could squeeze in one or two more.
The aim is simple: it should be unique (duh), can be extremely out of place, may be scary (RBL pls), may possibly involve some conditions to be triggered not necessarily related to bosses' HP but maybe to player's character.
My proposals are for Neamhain:
- against females: if your chest and leg armor are destroyed and she impales you, Neam will say insulting comment regarding your 'imperfect' body inflicting a status called 'Triggered' which lasts for 15 seconds. During that time you are unable to move and your character loops /Frustrated emote.
- against males: if your chest and leg armor are destroyed and she impales you, Neam will say she 'has seen better' inflicting a status called 'Depressed' which lasts for 15 seconds. During that time you are unable to move and your character loops /Breakdown emote.

It's like ruin blade, but upon activation you have to write a four page research essay on why you haven't quit this game yet, with citations.
Failure to finish, follow the guidelines of rubric listed in the skill description, or improper citations deletes the game from your hard drive and forces you to reinstall.
Manus: Will cast a 3 second spell that requires to be interrupted from multiple secondary weapon usage and prevents all incoming damage. Upon failure, Manus will fire a giant laser towards a random player, where it cannot be dodged or life-flared.
Captain Baethan: will preform a charged shot that will instantly incapacitate players, along with breaking the helmet in the process. Takes two seconds to charge, and it can be only used while he has x3 or less bars of HP. This attack can be avoided, but not able to be dodged.
Hexad/Lograch: During their weakened state, they will sometimes charge at a random player and swing their hammers in an underhanded position. Upon hitting a player, they will fly face-first to the roof where they will stick there for three seconds while their HP is depleted to 1. After that time passes, they will fall down where fall damage will meet their imminent demise.
Mad Morbus: The Mad Morbus will be given a rage mechanic where upon dealing damage charges it over time. When the meter is fully charged, The Mad Morbus will curl into a ball and ram all players within the room like pinball bumpers, where they are instantly killed. This attack cannot be avoided, even when using a skill that gives true invulnerability. If all party members are incapacitated in this matter, the battle will automatically deem failure, even if one member uses a grace after being incapacitated from the attack.
Hagan: Upon knocking down a player, Hagan will attempt to catch the player and latch them onto a wall while laughing manically. After 5 seconds, Hagan will throw a spear that will incapacitate the player being held captive to one of his torturous hooks. The arena will have various hooks surrounding the wall, often spawning 3-5 per battle. The hooks can only be destroyed from the use of bombs of any type.
Eochaid/Abomination: The plague mechanic will be implemented during the course of the fight, and will accumulate as the player takes damage. Taking too much damage will cause an explosion and instantly incapacitate the player, spawning multiple explosive causa after the explosion animation takes place.
Eochaid will fill 10% to the plague meter, while Abomination will fill 20% of the plague meter on each hit, even when blocked. The only way for the plague meter to decrease is to let it dissipate at a rate of 2% per second after not taking a hit for 5 seconds.
If the player is at 25% or higher, The plague will slowly sap away their stamina at a rate of 3 per second. It will also prevent stamina potions and the berserker scroll buff from working. The only way to counteract against this debuff is to consume a festival cookie while in town before boarding the battle.
If a player becomes incapacitated while at 50% or higher, two causa will spawn around the incapacitated player and an additional one will spawn for every 10% interval, totaling to 7 causa to spawn.
while at 75% full for the plague meter, healing skills and potions will not heal the player until it decreases below 75%. The cool downs to the affected members are still applied.
Rochest: Anyone standing still for 120min is klonked on the head by a Rochest security guard and wakes up next to Henrietta.
Malina: Anyone standing still for 120min is challenged to a duel by Finnec. You kill him. That is all.
Berbhe: You're afk in Berbhe. You're already dead inside. (send help it's lonely here)
I like this idea. Two Thumbs up!
