What classes compliment Kai in a duo?

I am starting over from scratch with a friend and we have a rule that we are not allowed to interact with other players until we finish Season 1, which means we will be duoing the entire season.

My friend is set on playing Kai (with a slight chance of Sylas) but I myself am not sure what character I would like to play, nor do I mind any of the other characters (besides Hurk). So I wanted to ask what class compliment Kai that I could wombo combo with his Kai.

I would imagine Fiona + Kai would be good since they have a sort of tank + DPS kind of thing going. Kai + Kai also sounds like it would make the game very easy considering there will always be one of us who is safe in a fight.

    If the Kai is Crossgun, then any class that takes the agro, If Bow i would say Hurk is the best beacuse Bow can pull off headshots easyier with hurk

    Evie can also work well with Kai.

    Karok is amazing at tanking and has shout and also clash.
