I want to change my damn name but it's "taken", yet that character doesn't exist. Some help would be appreciated. I bought a Name Change and it's been there for years because of this.

    So I asked about that name and the name belongs to another player.
    How did you get the "does not exist" message to appear?
    I tried whispering the player with the name and I got the 'player is offline' message.

    Seems I checked again today and it is indeed taken now, but the thing is I tried changing it before and I got the "Player does not exist" message. Guess I can't change it now then.

    I do wonder why, maybe a typo when you first checked.
    As I said I had asked about the name and it's been taken by the current owner for years.
