Coming back after three years...

So as the title say I haven't played for like three years, but I actually did try to play within the three years, but I ran into the same problem I had when I first started playing and that was, well, the fact that I was alone. I was hoping I could find some people to play with and get some guidance. My highest level was like 73 and then I stopped playing because I couldn't do anything alone and it was tough for me to find people to play with. I hope someone sees this and lets me play with them.

Oh yea, on top of that, I lost all my characters because I forgot the PIN to my account so I think all I got left is like a character that got boosted to level 50 because of that one event.

    Welcome baaaaaaack. You're returning to this game after an enormous amount of changes; character revamps (everyone is good), map rebalancing (Klaus moonwalks), aggressively simplified level/gear progression (the game literally gives you gear sets as you level up. And they're tradeable. Flipping tradeable), somewhat streamlined story progression (# of items needed, side missions, main missions have been adjusted), and a marketplace that now sells a bunch of NX items (not inner or hair coupons tho :'( ). It kinda sucks that you lost your old characters but with all these changes I don't think you're in a bad spot.

    And to top it all off, Neamhain has arrived and gives the player base an end game raid to prep for.

    As for the lonely feeling, a lot of the s1 content can be solo'ed. Your best bet in finding people to play with is gonna be either through guilds or beginning the end of season 1 raids. Quick Battle is the new feature that lets us do any run without needing to go to a board, so many players are using that. It's not perfect, but it's damn snazzy so far. Boats fill fast though, so don't be deceived if it looks empty. The spring semester has also started for a lot of players so a bunch of people are busy.

    If you don't mind running with a scrub, I usually get on around 10pm. I'm normally running around as my Evie (ign Lleiana) or Arisha (ign Syif).

    Nice! I'll totally hit you up. I usually play on West but I think for some reason I made my level 50 character on the east servers. I'm excited to get back into it. I was never used to the guild thing, but I hope I can get into one and meet new people.

    If your issue was that you were alone when playing then that's even worse now.
    Especially considering that three years ago we still had the mailbox glitch and the boats crashing every 5 minutes.
    Yet population then was still immense compared to how it is currently.

    If your main thing is finding others to play with then I suggest guild recruitments where people are active, Vindictus discord, and/or contacting people in the game personally and making an effort to play with them.
