Can't Progress Through Ben Chenner Trailhead

So I am at the part in the storyline where I am supposed to complete Ben Chenner Trailhead.

Everything is fine while progressing until the area after the raft. There is a ladder that my character won't climb regardless of how many times I try. I've restarted the mission multiple times but every time I get to the top of the ladder my character just falls all the way down.

I'm using an Xgun Kai if that matters.

    I've experienced this with Lugh twin swords, fallen so many times and its impossible to climb up because the moment you get to the top you just drop. They need to fix it ASAP.
    I ended up having a guild mate run it with me and they just went up the ladder while i was stuck at the bottom.
