When you hover over a post, it highlights the entire cell but you can only navigate to it by clicking the thread's title. I'd love to suggest making the blank space in a thread's cell clickable to navigate to the thread.

    For the 2nd post, it should disappear when you've read the replies (though I've noticed a bit of lag on these forums so it might not be instant). Though every time a new reply comes up it shows up again.
    Though on the top of the page marked "..." there is an option to Mark all as viewed, which would remove those from the forums until the next new reply.
