how does VIP work?

I have activated VIP on my main, but i created alt, and she has VIP icon above head, next to clover.
But in buffs, i dont see VIP.
But!!!! when i get loot from dungeon, i see VIP bonus core. Tho no extra AP or EXP.

This is WAI?

    VIP applies only to character it was activated on.
    VVIP applies to all characters in an account, regardless where it was activated.

    it should be just for one character
    but if you log out of vip character, and create new one, until you relog with new one, you have half VIP, lol, tested twice (not that it would be much use)
