Unable to log into character on West Server.

Problem is that Many people are having problems logging into a character in the West Server.
I am able to play on the East Server (have not tried the other 2) but Keep getting an error message when trying to get into the West Server.
That discussion should have been posted here in technical support, instead of general. So... Was wondering if the GM's are aware of this and if they are trying to fix it.
Error message is along this line
"An error occurred during the character selection progress
Visit the next on the website or contact customer service for help"
