It seems that sometimes the Magic Show quest from the Strange Traveler is not giving out the Magician's Assistant Guide or Destiny Cards for the daily quest. I have a bunch of alts I cycle through daily trying to get the title but every so often the Strange Traveler will give a different talk, I think it's from the first time doing the quest, and not give any items. It seems to be random as I'm literally just logging in at the Inn and clicking the quest and it has happened on several different characters.
