Question Regarding Premium Character Slots

I have 2 premium character slots on my account, and I was wondering if I delete one of those characters do I still keep the premium slot? I've tried searching for the answer but I can find a clear yes or no. Thank you to anyone who helps.

    yes u can, but why delete your chars when u can just buy more slots right?
