Not sure if this was a drop bug

I decided to file this as a bug report since asking support will get me nowhere as they've always apparently treat it as something else and refuse to answer.
Since a very long time, people have been wondering if the item Ancient Crystal STILL drops from its said locations as of now? It seems they stopped/dried up since a few years back. So is this a bug?

note: I made this as a bug report as I've seen reports regarding items(mats,quest items,etc) "not dropping" in the forums(treating it like a bug) and they seem to at least get some answer from support vs filing a ticket and given a response that basically says "no and it because we aren't allowed to give info regarding any items' drop rates".(i guess they're treating it like a question?)

    We checked the server logs and can confirm the item still drops.
