Cherry fishing rod disappearing

Hello!

I was getting my daily fishing rods from the cat today and I think I only had one slot available in storage. Previous days it'd give me the rods and told me to go clean up inventory before it gave me the Spring Picnic Ticket. Today the pop-up showed as if it gave me both the fishing rods as well as the picnic ticket, however I cannot find the fishing rods! I tried visually locating them as well as by the search function by multiple names(fish, rod, cherry, etc).
Just to be sure it won't somehow magically reappear, I emptied a slot, went to character select and back in but no change.
It's the last day, right? so I guess I'm just out of luck?
