Fleeing Gnoll King - wrong break off item

Anyone else tried to accomplish the break off for "The Fleeing Gnoll King" and received the Enraged Hero Mane? It's weird because I definitely knocked the mask off but when I collect at the end of the battle, its never the Black Scar Battle Mask...

    This is a long-standing "bug", so long that it can't really be called a bug anymore. The mission Gnoll King, Ruler of the Ruins is where the mask actually drops as a break-off. You need the rare drop to get the BP for The Fleeing Gnoll King.
