+10 Coupons and low level characters

If I am still leveling my character (level ~40) am I able to enhance my level 90 weapon to +10 already if I can get my hands on the weapon? Or do I need to wait until level 90 to do it?

    You have to be at least level 80 to enhance level 90 weapons.
