Fix the Roayl Army Raid Lag pls will ya?

Seriously Nexon,

after so many gatcha boxes and BS ways to collect money from your player base, you can't even provide a server to host royal army raids?

The lag is serious, i can probably host a 16 man party better than this useless server

    If you love to watch slide shows, go watch it yourself. Don't make everyone watch with you. Why in the hell do you revamp the royal army raids if 80% of the group failed because they can't make it through the lag? I was in one just now, and hit the boss 8 times which only 2 numbers popped up. Seriously?????

    If you are not planning to make this lag better or you don't know how to, give people free title or give the title after completing once. DON'T FORCE EVERYONE SUFFER 5 TIMES! I won't even touch this once i get the title.

    Also, they might as well add mysterious shards to the seal shop if they aren't going to solve this issue.

    Keeping your game and raids playable should be a priority. Are we seriously waiting until the next update for a fix? Not only does the game run like a legless turd now, but the raids I enjoy the most are just not fun at all anymore with this rubberbanding lag. People only show up for the raids if they're unaware of the lag or because they're willing to sacrifice an hour for that tiny chance of turning a profit from their suffering.

    "No worries"? I know these guys leave for break over the holidays, but jesus, at least try to fix this nonsense before then. There are people who only have time to play during these long breaks and this is the state you leave the game in for them?

    have you never been on a well-performing RAR? i've seen my share of both, and until recently there seemed to be no pattern to predict if it will be laggy before it starts. right now my theory is that it will lag if people are loading in while it starts. don't have conclusive evidence for it yet, but it hasn't been disproven since i started paying attention to it this last week.

    but it is already hard enough to find a group, i have never seen any royal army raids filled to the max. I'd be lucky to find maybe 3-4 tries a day given i get off work at 5pm, and each raid cost me about at least an hour average to group up and 30-45mins to run given that i can't do anything while I wait

    I understand that you are experiencing issues with the game and we apologize for the inconvenience. This issue can be caused by a number of factors which can include software incompatibility, outdated drivers, or even outdated Windows systems. To possibly solve this issue, uninstall and reinstall the game first and follow recommend the steps below:

    - Restart your devices to freshen your system resources. This includes your router and modem.
    - Turn off all possible software except Windows applications. This includes your antivirus software, firewalls, and any VPN software that may be currently running. Please be advised that Nexon no longer supports the use of VPN software due to security concerns.
    - Update your Windows operating system by visiting System Update and downloading all available updates.
    - Update your device drivers. This includes your graphics device.
    - Repair your Nexon Launcher installation. To do this, here are the steps I have listed:

    1. Open the Nexon Launcher
    2. Click on the game you wish to repair.
    3. Click on the Gear icon right next to the Terms of Use and this should open the Game settings.
    4. On the Game Settings window, click on the Repair Installation selection. When you click on Repair Installation you will receive a message that will inform you that the program will restore any missing or damaged game files and if you wish to continue.
    5.) For Steam, Right click on Vindictus on your Library then go to Properties>Local Files>Verify Integrity Of Game Cache.

    If you should still experience the same concern, please get back to us with a few bits of information to allow us to diagnose this issue further:

    -If you are running Windows XP or higher go to your task bar.
    -Click on, "Start Button".
    -Click on, "Run".
    -In the pop-up window enter dxdiag and hit ok.
    -The DirectX Diagnostic Tool pop-up window should appear.
    -Click on, "Save all information" button and save as dxdiag.txt
    -Attach this file to your reply to this message.

    Haha, I was expecting a copy-pasted "is your pc plugged in? flush dns and try again pls" response like that when I made my ticket so I was a bit snarky at the start, saying "I do not need technical support, I am reporting on the status of your game servers". To my surprise the dude actually read that and spared me the usual scripted answer. Props to that guy I, guess.

    This shows a bit of bad coordination on their part, at least if you made a proper report in the submission. You'd think they'd have notes about it or be able to ask around about ongoing issues that are supposedly being worked on before giving an answer, but I've never seen that GM before so maybe he's just started working on Vindi or something. I've actually seen the guy who answered mine in laggy RA raids on East too.
