Not sure if you are aware of this, but when you exit the mission and get to the dock, there's a big likelihood you can't actually click the add to friends list button for anyone in the group because your mouse is locked into view control mode and if you hit esc to get out of it, you just close the window first instead. Might be a good idea to NOT have it default to mouselook mode on the dock map load. It seems to revert to mouselook mode when going from town to the dock as well, implying that it is the map loading causing the change.
