Multihost / srcds not working
I've been trying to figure out for years why multihost isn't working on my computer, it says "entering battle" but never actually departs. I found that srcds.exe should be running, but on my computer after I hit "start" on the boat, it opens for a few seconds in task manager, then closes. the same thing happens if i run it directly in the folder.
If I instead try it on an older computer, the behavior is the same if i'm running it on its own from the vindictus folder, but if I make a multihost boat in game, it works as intended, and boat departs. in event viewier on my main computer I get the following error

I can't find any log specific to srcds so I'm not sure where else to check and how to fix this. Would love to be able to get this fixed!
