Need Tips on Activating Spellwhip Dash->ASD Skill

Hey Everyone,

I'm able to do the Dash->AD Skill consistently but I have yet to be able to activate her Dash-ASD skill for the enhanced explosion. I have max rank in the skill but I cannot figure out the timing or the best way to do this skill. Thanks much in advance!
