How about speeding up the crafting?

Hi, I would like to make a suggestion about speeding up the crafting, or being able to play while crafting in the background.
I mean almost 5 minutes to craft an item is really a lot and you can't even queue many items and go afk and do something else, because often after 4/6 items, you need to change to another item because the one you are crafting isn't giving points towards it anymore.
Could it be possible to speed it somehow, even with some potions of some sort. I mean already searching for all the materials really takes a long time, so how about being able to craft faster? I know it may not be possible, but I'm asking anyway... Thanks. :-)
