♦ Who Is Eira?
Eira is
Vindictus' newest character[CLICK HERE].. Also known as
“Miul” in the Eastern regions of the game. She is a witch that uses twin pistols to discharge hot death into her foes, while leaping in and out of portals to dodge or re-position herself to attain a tactical advantage. Being one of the newest characters to the game, Eira sets herself apart from some of the older characters in Vindictus, bringing a considerably well put together lore that you are exposed to upon creating the character.
♦ Should you play Eira?
If you are familiar with Vindictus explaining Eira’s gameplay pattern is easy. She is a mixture of
Scythe Evie’s love for teleport-based repositioning, and
Whip Arisha’s range,
Arisha’s mana resourcep, and
Twin Chain Vella’s love for spinning.
If you are
not familiar with Vindictus, you might get similar vibes from
other dark-themed, twin-pistol wielding witches with a flare for the over-the-top.

♦ Creating Eira
One thing to keep in mind during character creation for Eira, is her height. In Vindictus, character height brings a
hidden stat change to both attack speed and attack range. To be more specific:
the shorter your character the faster you attack; the taller your character, the longer your reach is. The changes are not negligible. So, if you aren’t playing Eira solely for a waifu simulator, and identify as the kind of player to really care about stats and just how much raw DPS or strategic ability you have in-game, then your Eira’s height is something you should keep in mind.

♦ What skills do I rank up first?
This will be broken into three tiers. Focus on upgrading all skills in a specific tier, before moving down to the subsequent tiers — unless you find yourself desperately needing an upgrade in a lower tier.
For example: if your “Character Growth Goals”, Vindictus’ insntive to growing your character, asks you to “Reach Health Mastery Rank A” to receive 1,000 AP, then you should prioritize that, even if the skill ‘Health Mastery’ is Tier 3.
—
Tier Zero:
Whatever your Character Growth Goals tell you [CLICK HERE].
Always do this first.
—
Tier One:
Smash Mastery: Damage where it counts.
Battle Respiration: Allows your Eira to recover stamina far more quickly, making you able to move when it counts.
Armor Mastery: Being able to wear what counts.
Weapon Mastery: Being able to wield what counts.
Intelligence: Boosting your main damage stat.
—
Tier Two:
!!!!
All of your combat skills !!!!
Life Flare: This will essentially save you from being killed every now and then.
Standing Endurance: This will keep you from getting knocked down — personally one of my biggest pet peeves in this game.
Stamina Mastery: Another important skill. Vindictus relies a lot on stamina use, and so this is kep. However, being able to hold a few extra stamina points is less important than quickly recovering your stamina. Which is why Stamina Mastery is Tier Two, while it’s counterpart, Battle Respiration, is Tier One.

Tier Three:
Here we have your relatively useless things, such as Secondary Weapon Prof. and Willpower Mastery. In other words,
everything not listed above.
Combos:
I won’t comment on every combo that Eira has, as she can do quite a bit. I suggest experimenting to find the style of gameplay that best suits you. Where it’s a cinematic, or speed run style.
However, it’s important to note that to use Eira to the best of her ability, like many other characters, you need to make sure that you have “Attack where the camera faces” disabled. You can find this in Options> Mouse Mode > Advanced Settings . This is because with this unchecked you can reposition yourself as you attack, as well as use your skill ‘Inverse Shot’ to reposition yourself away or closer from/to a boss by using your movement WASD keys.
To keep things simple, here is what each thing means in this part of the guide.
[L] = Left Mouse Button, (weak attack).
[R] = Right Mouse Button, (strong attack).
[K] = Kick, (Your kick; remap this hotkey if you are uncomfortable tapping it every combo).
[Tab] =
Your SP-consuming dodge. Not to be confused with your spacebar, which is your normal dodge — which every character in Vindictus has.
AOE:
[L], [L], [R] (Bullet Storm), [R] (Bullet Rain), [R] (Bullet Hail). [K] (Inverse Shot)***
*** When activating Inverse Shot you will jump AWAY from the location you are trying to make your character walk to using WASD. This can be changed mid combo. Meaning you will jump the opposite direction to whichever WASD key you are holding.
The same combo can be achieved by
[TAB], [L], [L], [R] (Bullet Storm), [R] (Bullet Rain), [R] (Bullet Hail). [K] (Inverse Shot)
You will need to still be moving through the portal for this to work, not having just gotten out or kicked out due to a lack of SP.
DPS:
[L], [R]. *REPEAT*
This is best if you are operating against a few fast boss and trying to get some damage in while dodging for your life.
[L],[L],[L], [R],[R]. *REPEAT*
If you have plenty of room. Feel free to link this with however many SP-using abilities your little heart wishes to.
HOLDING:
Waveform Collapse: This is your
holding ability. This is a tactical SP ability that needs to be used with much consideration during group play. When you use this ability on a boss, the boss will be locked in place. Allowing your other party members to set up as much damage as possible while your Eira carries out this prolonged cinematic execution.
