Stuck on Glowing Plant mission with Belle

I came to the third area in the first map of Glowing Plant, killed everything but the area won't open for the next part. OR maybe the boss should have appeared... i don't know. All i know is that i'm stuck here and i can't move on...

    ok... in my desperation i started trashing everything with big smashes. after a few minutes, while smashing all the walls there are, i mob jumped in and after i killed him, the area opened.
