    it sounded to me like you can choose one outfit from the ones listed. And some outfits would have male and female versions like the gangster outfit and some outfits would be specific to one gender like keaghan or macha outfits (which aren't part of the outfits listed but just using it as an example). So I guess it's pretty much when you click the box you can pick a legendary outfit from the list, just make sure your character you want it for can use it.

    tldr: it's probably not character specific. Just make sure the outfit you pick has a version for your gender.
