Anyone use Name Change coupon recently?

Friend of mine used one on a pending deletion character(took it off pending, then logged into it and changed the name to something else so he could use the prevous name for Eira)
But it never became available, before it would become available instantly.
(He tried using the name asap after changing it, he has two computers one logged into the name holder, the other at the Eira name prompt screen)

Anyone else try it recently? They change how it works?

    Had the same thing happen to me. I'd assume a lot of others as well. Support is being slow to respond, so I would assume this is a very widespread issue and they are backed up because of it

    Iirc names have a cool down. Once changed you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can use again. At least that's what support told me 2 years ago when this happened to me.
